So I don't know if you guys have seen this or not, seems likely you have, but it's pretty fantastic.  Duels between fictional characters, with writeups on how things might go, plus written results after all is said and done.  Feel like I've heard of that somewhere else...Anyway, all's said and done, but the writeups are well worth a read.  Even if Cthulu lost in round 2.

ASoIaF spoilers:

I'm rather confused that Jaime Lannister got as far as he did when the writeups treat him as being post-maiming. It's a distinct plot point that he's a totally incompetent fighter after that. Just... zuh? He's not even exceptionally clever or resourceful or anything that would make him good in this format. (He's rather charismatic, but the books provide plenty of evidence that this doesn't help him much in a fight or against someone determined, even pre-maiming he was about to lose to Brienne when their fight was interrupted.) And I say this as someone who rather likes the character overall.

Of course, it's probably part of the overall pattern of who wins having more to do with the popularity of his or her series than anything else, but I guess that's to be expected. Fun enough read otherwise from what I've seen.

A nice flash game that's basically a watered down (BUT COMPLETE) Mushroom Kingdom Fusion.

Basically, this is Super Mario Bros. 1 with Mario, Link, Megaman, Samus, the Contra guy, and Simon Belmont.

After experimenting, Mario is basically the only worthwhile character, which is a shame.

Guess what? After a year of meeting a lengthening list of demands by Microsoft legal, Mektek, the fans who modded like 30 extra chassis and a ton of new weapons in to MW4: Mercs, have finally managed to release a freeware, no-CD version of MechWarrior 4: Mercs.

Hopefully, you can luck out and the site will come up when you look. It's like playing roulette. Not the russian kind, because it's much less dangerous.

EDIT: Also included is a skirmish mode-only version of MechWarrior 2.
