Depends on the shot, I guess. I feel like I've been able to find one sort of higher-res CGI version of him, but no version of it that's large enough.

Why am I not surprised that Mediocre Joe the Jedi ended up being Strago's favorite character?

Incidentally, when you pick the bald black male skin for your character, it makes every interaction between you and Jolee awesome because it ends up just being some father and son bickering and pretending not to know each other.

Well, the first KotOR wasn't exactly swimming in unique characters. There's HK-47 and there's Jolee Bindo, who is a pretty new type of Jedi.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with Rob here. Jolee struck me as a pretty new treatment of something that had always been otherwise completely cut-and-dry and pretty damned boring. Plus, he's the only non-evil character who isn't tiresome and annoying as shit. If you're going to slap the Label of Mediocrity on a Jedi in KotOR... well, I don't even know how I'd choose between Juhani and Bastila. They can both go to hell.

Jolee wasn't even that interesting, although you're right: None of the PCs really are, HK aside.  At least Jolee talked trash back when I mocked him instead of getting his indian hair tampons all in a twist and freaking out.

However, I'm all right with this.  Because of the like second thing that happens during the Dark Side ending.  That was fun~ ^_^

EDIT:  I know what's wrong with that Jolee avatar that's been bugging me since last night now!  THERE'S NO SILLY SHIT ON HIS EYES.  WHY DOES HE NOT HAVE AN INTERFACE VISOR ON HIS HEAD FOR MY AMUSEMENT.

I will say this for Bindo: his "meh, the Sith are retarded and the Jedi are dumb" thing he had going on gave rise to Kreia, who was a great character.

I could rant about Star Wars canon stuff with the regards to the meaning of the Force, but that would be incredibly nerdy and is all EU stuff (and honestly the most disappointing part of EU) but what it comes down to was that there is no place for neutrality in the force and it was editorially mandated by Lucas himself.

Ah, that makes more sense. I actually felt like his neutrality was a boon, though: he could both heal my peeps and lightning bitches with no less efficacy than I desired. Not that any of that really mattered, Scoundrel/Guardians with Master Speed and that super crit-rate feat are godslayers and the game is stupidly easy.

Ah. Lame. I do pretty much hate Star Wars, and this is the bulk of why. Yet I still really freaking want to play KotOR 2 now. Sigh. Do me, Avellone.

Don't get me wrong.  For all that KotOR 2 is great in its morality plays it does do them straight to the Star Wars canon.  It DOES help you sympathise with some of the Dark Side types though.

New Jedi Order stuff was pretty much shaping up to bring about a whole new philosophy of the force to the fore (I think Jolee even references it by name at one point, it is an old philosophy in universe) but it ultimately leads to Anakin(?) Skywalker pulling a Vader and not realising it.  We all now know that pulling a Vader post Reveng of the Sith is pretty fucking lame.

Anakin Solo just dies at one point actually.  Jacen Solo goes on to pull a total Vader in the next series, Legacy of the Force. Granted, I never read the NJO stuff so I dunno how big Anakin's whole "the dark side is all, like, in your MIND, man" philosophy was, just that ultimately he died and the universe as a whole didn't hold on to the idea for long.

Edit: Personally, I really like Jolee.  I think it's for much the same reason I watch the Daily Show; there's just something spiritually soothing about seeing someone look at something very stupid (in this case, the whole "Jedi mustn't love!!!" thing), go to great lengths to illustrate just how stupid it is, and do so in a self-depreciating and shameless manner.

Two out of three Solo children is not nearly enough. Jaina's the kind of character where if the writers found out you didn't like her they'd talk more about how awesome and perfect she was and have her solve a bunch of shit by herself.

God I hate that shit.
