Played:
Tales of Vesperia
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (SFC version specifically, may play the remake)
Star Ocean/First Departure (SFC version specifically, may play the remake)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1 version specifically, no intention of playing the remake)
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Star Ocean 4
Blue Dragon (Deserves to be on the list, for all that it is indeed worse than ToV in everyway as a rank, from a writers/players perspective)

Interested:
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (I'll get to this EVENTUALLY)
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (Pyro is forcing it down my throat, so I don't really have a choice here <.<)
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (see MK2)
Mother 3 (...as is this...)

Want to play but not realistically happening in near future:
Valkyrie Chronicles (lack of a PS3, doubt I'll be getting one any time soon)

Indifferent (as in, I'm not really that interested, but I'm not outright against playing them):
Suikoden Tierkreis
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Doubt I'll ever play:
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (Disgaea doesn't register high on care factor, unlike VC, and the lack of a PS3 makes this especially less care worthy)
Eternal Sonata (I've seen the ending, I've seen the battle system at its max...I don't think I need to see anymore <.<)

Have played
1. Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom/DS), DS version specifically.  Slam-dunk for ranking next round assuming it gets a few more writers far as I'm concerned.
2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC) - It's a bit late now, six years later, but sure.  (And player surge was surely from the Steam Holiday Sale and general sillily low pricing.)  Only problem is that the most recognizable character has a craptastic Light boss form that's required, but her PC form is splitpathy (and a Heavy).  Bastila really is the inverse of Edea.

Maybe someday, but not soon
1. The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS)
2. Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
3. Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)
4. Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2) - Sounds like a DNR regardless.
Blame CmdrKing for loaning me not just Wild Arms XF, but several other PSP games which sound cooler than the above on the portable front.

Wrong system
1. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) - My parents now own a Wii, but I don't.  How humiliating.
2. Tales of Vesperia (360) - Definitely want to play this.
3. Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) - This looks cool but gets a DNR regardless.

Not interested
1. Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
2. Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom /PSP)

Really not interested.
Mother 3 (GBAj)
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3)

Note: I can play pretty much anything. No issues with access.

Played, in order of ranking enthusiasm. (as opposed to outright support)

1. Tales of Vesperia (360): I shouldn't have to explain this.
2. Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2): This is just a neat cast.
3. The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS): I love this little game.
4. Valkyria Chronicles (PS3): Again, just enthusiasm. I think it is easy enough to figure out and there are really only a few ranks.
5. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii): New duelers from this include Elincia, Laguz Royals, and the DB. I think it makes a nice fit.
6. Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (DS only): Just finished it. Liked it a lot. Characters have actual personalities! In an earlier DQ game!
7. Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS): About 90% of this is Lieselotte being badass.
8. Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2): It has some lively characters, if not too much in terms of interesting duelers.
9. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC): It's been so long since I played this that it feels kind of pointless.
10. Eternal Sonata (360/PS3): Well, I did do a stat topic for the bloody thing.
11.Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA): Kyosuke and Excellen are cool. It has some cool duelers. Just don't find myself liking it much as a ranking idea.
11. Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom only)

Have not played, in order of interest playing:
1. Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP): I like some of what I've heard.
2. Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
3. Mother 3 (GBAj)
4. Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)

Played:

Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
Tales of Vesperia (360)
Mother 3 (GBAj)
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom/DS)
Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom /PSP)
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC)

Haven't played but want to:

NONE

Will not Play:

Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS)
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP)

Suikoden and VP are among my least favorite series and remake or no, Persona 1 is still terrible.  I was interested in WoO until I heard it uses all touch screen movement which is fucking stupid.  At least Sonic RPG had SONIC to make it remotely interesting.

I'm down with ranking any of the games I played except KotOR, which still has WRPG problems. If I had to pick three games though, it would be FE10, ToV, and MK2.

Well if Eph posted

I Heard that I played these
1. Mother 3 (GBAj) - Uh oh, anti-Mother sentiment although this really cleans up some EB stuff
2. Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2) - Thanks CK
3. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona (PSP) - It has J-pop battle music so it is now 10/10, why did you all play PSX version anyway
4. Tales of Vesperia (360) - I'll finish this in 2047
5. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) - Rank Nephritenee again
6. Hand of the Heavenly Bride (DS) - Go aiel, you pushed probably the most boring borderline game
7. First Departure (PSP) - Okay maybe not MOST boring
8. Suikoden Tierkreis (DS) - If we rank this I say we full rank the PC cast
9. Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA) - See above

I could play these if I throw a dart at a dartboard and it tells me to play them:
1. Eternal Sonata (360/PS3) - Well I've heard nothing but good things from all of you and I have a gift card...
2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC) - Is Star Wars a type of cracker or something
3. Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2) - Playing this would make Richard happy, that is not allowed
4 Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS) - I'll play this when VP4 comes out
5. The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS) - Playing this would make Snow AND Pyro happy, that is a divide by 0 error that crashes the universe

Snow, don't get a PSP, buy me a PS3:
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)

What I think I've played in full:
Mother 3 (GBAj)
Disgaea 3 (PS3)

What I've played a short amount of:
Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom /PSP)

What I could be interested in playing:
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom/DS)
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP)
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS)

What I wouldn't be opposed to playing:
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)

What I don't really have interest in:
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)

What I can't play:
Tales of Vesperia (360) (Because...  Well...  No 360.  Otherwise, this would move up to the "Interested in Playing" rank)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC)

What I can't even be paid to play:
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)

-Played-
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA) (DNR, prevents complaining from people which allow characters that use guns but find whole mechanized suits anathema for poorly defined reasons. Alternately, rank the robots themselves and disregard the pilots.)

-Haven't played-

Currently own-
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Dragon Quest: Hand of the Heavenly Bride (DS)

Could emulate-
Star Ocean (Super Famicom)
Mother 3 (GBAj)

Need to import, as far as I'm aware-
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
Revelations: Persona (PS1)

No current desire to acquire-
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC)
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS)

On a system I have no intention of getting currently-
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) (Cannot Play)
Tales of Vesperia (360) (Cannot Play)
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3) (Cannot Play)
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3) (Cannot Play)

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS) (DNR, overfocused on teamplay)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA) (DNR, overfocused on teamplay)
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) (DNR, overfocused on teamplay)

Could you expand on that?  The only thing the three games have in common is SRPG style maps, and while I can see what you mean with VP (mind, I don't think it's an insurmountable issue, see also VP1 and 2 being ranked), I'm really not sure how SRW or FE games are team focused at all...

I'd imagine it's because one-on-one fights aren't remotely what either system is about. They can handle one PC vs. many enemies, or many PCs vs. one enemy, but not single combat.

That's fairly much what I had in mind, although I wouldn't say that one-on-one fights are really what most non-fauxtactical RPG systems are about either.

However when I turn the same view to regular RPGs I find myself having difficulty justifying it. It's something I've felt for some time, so I haven't really thought much about it recently and just took it as dogma. But 'Ideally, an FE PC can't cut a bloody swath through enemies, and left to their own devices should take several turns to kill an enemy' is kind of exactly the point of the DL. My viewpoint has been shattered or it became corrupted sometime after I initially oriented myself to it.

VP1's issues were only surmounted by making the system work differently to ingame. The validity of this is questionable.

I will go back and alter my list as necessary.

Played(No particular order):

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox/PC)
Mother 3 (GBAj)
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom/DS) [Both versions, not done with 5DS though.]
Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom /PSP) [Both versions]
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP) [Original]
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)

Interested in/currently playing (Descending order in interest):

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS) - Playing already, will eventually finish.
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS) - Fairly interested. Sounds like a decent game, and one I can get my hands on.
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS) - Eh, it sounds cute enough. I will admit it hasn't sounded like my sort of a game from the bits I hear but it surely doesn't sound bad and the basic concept would get me through it. The fact that it's DS-which is the system I like puttering around most on due to easy game accessability and portability-helps.
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2) - Low interest, but it's there. I can get it, but I need MK first, and I'm working on ranked games/random unranked foibles first in the usual 1-3 or so ratio. >_>
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii) - Interest now exists that I now have a console that can play it. Not a whole lot though. Need to play FE9 first, which will happen...probably fairly fast, thank you DVD burner, but. Call this half a year to a year from now.

Lack Console(Descending order):

Tales of Vesperia (360) - Would play if I had the console, fairly fast, I suspect.
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3) - See above. Mostly lower because it's not as likely to get ranked due to system issues.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3) - Bleh. Would need to play Dis 2 first and even then Dis 3 doesn't interest me as much as Dis 2.
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3) - Everything I've heard about this game places it in the tier of RPGs I never want to seriously, start-to-finish play. Do you know how few RPGs that is? Lack of console is very secondary here.

Games played-

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)

Star Ocean/First Departure (Super Famicom /PSP)

Games I might pick up sometime in the early future -

Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PS1/PSP)
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
Tales of Vesperia (360) - If it comes overseas to the PS3.
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom/DS)
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)

Games I won't be playing -

While I already have more responses than the last topic (^.^), I want to give everyone who posted last time (Excal, CT, Andrew, and Piggy off the top of my head) a chance to see this and have time to respond.  So, will probably start calculating interest thursday night or friday morning.

I have, however, already been collecting player data, so if you change that (ie if you started playing a listed game) it'd help me out if you let me know of the edit.  Thanks.

Partially Played

Valkyria Chronicles
Mana Khemia 2

Everything else falls under the umbrella of willing to play in theory, minus XBox/PSP stuff due to lack of system.

Played - in order of support
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Mana Khemia 2: Fall of Alchemy (PS2)
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation (GBA)
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (DS)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox)
Dragon Quest V/Hand of the Heavenly Bride (Super Famicom)
Soul Nomad & The World Eaters (PS2)(DNR)  -  Looking at how the DL has eternally dealt with SN in prospective discussions, and having played it, I stand by my assessment of awesome RPGP rank, horrific DL rank.

Not played, but willing to.
Revelations: Persona/Shin Megami Tensei: Pesona (PSP)
Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)
The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road (DS)
Star Ocean/First Departure (PSP) - I've had access to this for almost a year now...  and still have no interest in playing it.
Mother 3 (GBAj) - Started this, and while the plot looks mildly interesting, the gameplay still feels like standard pre-DQ8 stuff, and therefore dull as hell.

Lacking System
Valkyria Chronicles (PS3)
Tales of Vesperia (360)

Lacking Desire
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice (PS3)
Eternal Sonata (360/PS3)
