Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2)- I'm leaning Berle. Need to look at this.
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5)- Death to stupid trees.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1)- Same as the Solo/Liete fight from S2. Go first, put up Fendspell.
Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4)- Alena shreds healers.
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9)- It's Quina.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8)- I bet Ephraim's doubling, not that he needs it.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1)- Ramza doesn't OHKO and he needs to do that to win.
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA)- Can outslug luke or just status him out with Frozen daggers.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG)- Tolone's bad.
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)- Can chip past an L1. Wow.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7)
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9)- Less awful.
Tal (S4 vs Palmer (FF7)- I have zero Palmer respect.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2) - Gutcheck. Lack of Berle respect.
Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB) - 4 Ness vs. Mitsuo = Mitsuo dislikes life.
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5) - Nuke droppage.

Heavy:

Sharon (S3)
vs Quina Quinn (FF9)
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8)

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1)
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Low respect means this is vaguely pending.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7)
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9)
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7)
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)

Super: Yes.

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2) - Don't remember Berle well enough. Should look up. ... oh hahahahahahaha.
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5) - Hm. Ex-Death OHKOs with Vacuum Wave. Glorious. But he's slow and Ted's fast. Suikoden 5 magic is ITE, right? Probably gets OHKOd by Ted's overkill.
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG) - Glorious Pt2. Kneejerk.

Heavy:

Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9) - Get out Quina.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8) - Will let Ephraim sample his goods and Drain Sword. Ephraim's very good but I seem to recall Leo's defence being pretty darn good, and if he just Drain Swords himself to victory Ephraim can only weep.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs Crowley (S1) - Can Ramza reasonably double Crowley fast enough? Ramza goes first, screams, Crowley does something, if Ramza can then 2HKO Crowley with a double I see Ramza taking this. Otherwise Crowley just Shining Winds to victory.
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - Luke.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG) - Tolone?
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - I think.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7) - Counters, crits, auto-regen. Just turtles into defence and kills Marcus on counters.
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7) - Palmer.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3) - Shabon's not awful.

I'm about 95% sure, yes, super.

Bardiche: Crowley is pretty much average speed, Ramza can't double that with one Scream.

Godlike:

Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5) - [Blatant Plug] FWIW, just added a writeup on Tree-Exdeath / Neo-Exdeath to the stats forum.  My Exdeath respect is fairly high, but, uh, this is exactly the kind of match that he hates - he'd OHKO Ted easily if he gets a turn, but he doesn't.  Judgement->Judgement to smash through the formchain.  NeoExdeath, in the DL, basically spoils people without average or above speed and good MT, which Ted handily qualifies at.  EDIT: Dur, Judgment is not MT.  Okay then Ted fries.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1)
Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4)
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9)
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8) - Bardiche, Ephraim is fast, Leo is slow, and Regeinleif is doing hueg like xbox damage.  I don't think Leo's Drain was full, and even if it was, the damage is not good enough to kill Ephraim before he crits.

Middle:

Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - Not thinking about this.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG)
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - I guess.  FF7 at half-limit gague full would proabably turn this for Tifa, since she can't be chipped as effectively and her Premium Heart damage is much better?  Not that I hold to half-limit interps.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7) - Marcus crits or something.
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9)
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7)
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)

Can Ness revive?

Just looked it up on Starmen.net, and Healing γ does take care of everything, including Death...  But only has a 75% chance of revival.  Poo eventually gets Healing Ω, which is 100% revival, as well as healing everything else.

Wasn't Judgment single-target?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Snow is one of those anymore that takes the view of "Party of PCs vs. Boss", so there's 4 Teds fighting Ex-Death, and those four Teds are getting a turn before Ex-Death can do anything.

Snow simply mentioned "good MT", and Ted's is 2-3HKO. Although Dhyer mentioned something earlier about that figure needing to be higher? I dunno.

No that was me screwing up.  Shows how well I know Suiko IV I guess, I thought Judgment was MT but Ted's low charges meant that I only used it for single-part bosses.  Don't really remember S4 that well.   Uhhh I guess I'd give it to Exdeath then, thanks for the catch.

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2): He can put out a LOT of damage while invulnerable, unless I am very much mistaken. Kind of insane, wasn't it?
Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB): Some form of status.
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5): Status or world 2 form or something.
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG): Thinking on whether I let him move out of the way of Gatling.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1): Fendspell or whatever it was, sure. Don't think it stops Enclose but Liete can't follow that up with killing damage.
Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4): OHKOs on a double-crit or something. Or doubles.
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9): Quina COULD have something that would let it win, but I doubt it offhand.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8): IIRC the draining wasn't even that good, even if it did ignore range!

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1): I'm not nearly as certain of this as Super is, but sure.
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA): I'll buy into the Peppita hype train.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG): Yeah.
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7): Well, if Super is voting this way. Someone poke me if Tifa resisted Wind.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7): A hearty 'whatever' here.
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9): Jesus *$(*%*& Christ.
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7): Palmer.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3): Let Light be offered up as a Sacrifice upon the feast of Dhyerness.

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2)
Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB) - :'(
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5) - um.....
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG) - Pers is weak (2x) against water.. Doc's best damage is Crystal Water. Plus he's considerably faster, even before Senkei, and doubles at the very least after it.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1) -

1. Enclose. (100%, ignores resist/magic resist, works on everything, even bosses) Fendspell/Snub isn't getting any points against unique special spells/skills, just for being able to block generic spells. Especially since it can't even do so universally in it's own game.
2. Liete is faster anyway. (77%/82% to 74/64/74% average speed.)
3. Enchantress Dance = Enclose (x2)
4. Liete can easily and cheaply get lightning resistance.

Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4)
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9) - Nulls wind. Sharon's left with only 4HKO physical damage. Quina has average HP/defense, and White Wind heals for about a third of maxHP. Vanish gives the time needed to heal up and Quina doesn't have bad evade either. (above average)
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8) - Earth Prayer + the healing and damage of Soul Blade gives Leo the win here. (not to mention game best HP/Def)

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1)
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA)
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG) - Rebecca has the edge because of speed here, though if Tolone can get a miss she may be able to take this.
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7)
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9)
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7)
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2)- I do have decent Berle durability respect, so I'd have to look into this.
Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB)
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5)
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG)- Citan would 2HKO, but he's exploding before that occurs.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1)- Yep, even if Enclose works, it's not doing enough damage for Redshocks to finsh Sofia off.
Alicia (VP2) vs Alena (DQ4)
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9)
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8)

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1)
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA)
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG)
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7)- Hmm, Maxine could live through Tifa's L1 barely...if she was fully healed. However, that's not happening since Shining Wind triggers an L2. Surprised to see people seeing Maxine getting around the L1. She's limited to her physical to do it really, and Shining Wind isn't that great of damage for this.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7)
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9)
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7)- Um, Palmer is shitty enough to deserve Light. That doesn't make him bad at Light. 4hKO+Evasion+Not horrid HP+probably faster than Tal.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)
...into the nightfall.

Godlike:

Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG) - Hmm... no, I don't think I allow characters who can't move around in a battlefield to move out of the way here, and Citan can't kill before Gatling goes off (if Gatling had a full turn delay instead of a half-turn delay, though...)

Heavy:

Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9) - Unless if elemental nulling in FF9 only nulled elemental damage and not the effects attached to the elemental attack as well. Bad Breath, Frost, or Doom does Sharon in since I don't allow non-initially equipped yellow scarves and the fight should last long enough for them to hit.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1) - Faster than I thought. Ramza can't kill before getting drained to oblivion.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG) - No counters, but she doubles since Tolone is slow. The Elements not named Dominia are frail so I doubt Tolone could kill first.
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Maxine can't get around the L1 limit and she needs to.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7) - Not Marcus
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9) - Not Cinna
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7) - Similar damage (...), but Palmer's more durable (...).
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3) - ...yeah. Luccia might have had a chance if the status move wasn't OPB.

Not sure any game does that besides SD 3 that I can think of it. Even without out...Quina is a Light without Insomniac. Seriously, depending on 36% status off bad speed. Sharon may not be Emily, but she's not Suikodog or 1 swing wonder.

Completely irrelevant and definitely wouldn't apply here, but Persona 2 has a case of it as well (combo spells that are elemental ID in effect). And yeah, Quina... feels like she needs a downgrade; she's not been competitive in Heavy for a while, Night being her sole real trick.

Godlike:

ITed (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5) - Ex-Death has a legal form-chain and too much damage.

Heavy:

Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9) - Eh.  Apathy.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8) - Ephraim has to go into range 1 where he can be countered to hit stuff for actual damage.  Leo can be outside of Range 1 for his specials.  Result:  Ephraim loses a damage race.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1) - I'll follow the hype here.
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - See above.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG)
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - See the rest of Middle I'm voting on.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7) - Again with the hype train.
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9) - Even without XF, not Cinna.
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7) - Guardian Clay -> Beatdown.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3)

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2): Unsure.
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5): Plenty of respect for X-Death's damage, but his durability makes Kefka's look good. Sooo yeah. Not at all buying Neo X-Death as legal for X-Death, given that that creature is really more the Void/Enuo or whatever than X-Death.
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG): Definitely allow moving out of the way of Lock-On if you get a turn at the right time. Why wouldn't you? So yeah, that move is probably useless, as is everything else Persephone can do in the face of healing? Unless she can get to above 50% of Citan's speed after Quicken... which she probably can... and then time things just perfectly. Seems unlikely, although a good analysis might convince me otherwise.

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1): Liete wishes Enclose were a tech.
Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4): Figure she can handle this.
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9): Some status nonsense no doubt.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8): Um yeah, Eph probably doubles here. Ugly.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs Crowley (S1): Sadness.
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA): Better.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG): Probably.
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7): Pretty sure a L1 just kills to me regardless, and that's unavoidable.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7)
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9): Cinna.
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7): Palmer has an argument with that evade no doubt, but meh.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3): Least close match here? Says something when the others involve CINNA.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

Godlike:

Isolde (MK) vs Berle (SO2): Wisemen had pretty good elemental resists IIRC, and that actually takes an awful lot out of Isolde's damage. There's form 1 but it's a little too weak to me.
Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB): Beats 4 Nesses easily if you don't scale down his HP - After stagnant air, Fear + Ghastly wail takes down 2 of them on average, crimps their offense, and sometimes when they both cast revival, only 1 comes back. As soon as Mitsuo lucks out and kills 3 - and he has lots of time to do this - that's a wrap.

Under standard views, which I still use, this is actually closer, since the ID takes 2 turns to go off and Ness has that free turn to pile on some good damage in the meanwhile, but I see Mitsuo as too tough for that.

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1): Yeah, scream's a pretty shitty speed buff.
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG): I don't really let Rebecca counter anything unless it's provably fixed range, that + less evade respect costs her.

Godlike:

Mitsuo Kubo (Pers4) vs Ness (EB) - They kind of look alike, don't they?
Ted (S4) vs Ex-Death (FF5)
Persephone (WA5) vs Citan Uzuki (XG)

Heavy:

Sofia (DQ4) vs Liete (G1) - Doesn't she go first? FendSpell doesn't help if Sofia's Enclosed before she casts it...
Alicia (VP2) vs  Alena (DQ4) - Isn't the Soul Crush turn 3 or something? Kneejerking that Alicia does her healing/Soul Crush building sooner than Alena double-criticals.
Sharon (S3) vs Quina Quinn (FF9) - This match belongs in Middle. Quina blocks wind apparently? That + buffing and healing are probably enough.
Leo (Lunar:EBC) vs Ephraim (FE8)

Middle:

Ramza Beoulve (FFT) vs  Crowley (S1) - More Suikomages
Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Luke fon Fabre (TotA) - Belongs in Heavy vs. Belongs in Light. But-but- Jewel of Lorelei cancels out Panic Dance's poison effect! Freeze or ID gets him. Back to Light with you where you can be an entertaining duelist again!
Rebecca (FE7) vs Tolone (XG) - Evade and doubles vs. lolements
Maxine (S4) vs Tifa Lockheart (FF7) - Suikomage #4. Half starting Limit meters means  Maxine isn't avoiding a Limit. Not to mention that it boosts Tifa's basic physical damage.

Light:

Peco (BoF3) vs Marcus (FE7) - standard-ish Light match.
Tony (XF) vs Cinna (FF9) - And Tony gets his first (and probably only) DL victory! This is truly a great day for Doglike. The Suikodogs are throwing a party to sanctify this holy day.
Tal (S4) vs Palmer (FF7) - He lost to Aeris, he's losing to Tal.
Luccia (CC) vs Shabon (S3) - Suikomage #5, and there's more next week, aren't there?

Djinn: Sofia/Solo are only a tad below average, while Liete is pretty solidly the cast-worst of the final party of Grandia 1.  I guess...  Liete might be faster if you were to include hypothetical high-level Sue / Gadwin / Milda / Guido in an average?

Also, I don't think people let VP2 characters store Soul Crush gauge.  Alicia can Soul Crush turn 1 and every other turn if she wants to blow all her AP on it, she just won't be able to cast Heal.  Also DQ criticals are badass, I'd have a hard time seeing Alicia survive even one Alena critical.  Basically Alicia's plan here is to spam Heal + chipping until a Soul Crush turn would wipe out the remainder of Alena's health.  Problem is that Alicia's damage kind of dives when she has to use Heal.

Liete's around 80% (77%/82%) average, Sofia's only about 74% at best, (74%/63.9%/73.8% - from the different stat topics/versions) and is the 2nd slowest of the cast in two of the three topics.

When antelopes cross a river crocodiles will eat some of them, but the majority will still make it through.
Because there are 500 antelope and three crocodiles. Not because the crocodiles are enviornmentalists.
