If Kato was matched against Mazus in a battle of wits or cunning, he might be a bit frightened. But despite his less than competent beginnings as an Army grunt, Kato has picked up a bevy of arcane abilities that make him a beast in the arena. His variety of fatal status spells will quickly spell Mazus’ doom, and given that both are a bit sluggish, Kato may even get to act before his foe can unleash his first spell. Of course, given his solid durability, Kato can probably live through one of Mazus’ brutal spells, given him plenty of time to status the mage out. It may not be the easiest match, but Kato’s resilience is second to none.
