Isolde > Mitsuo

The place? A deep bowel of the DL Arena. The people? Mitsuo Kubo's shadow and Isolde Schilling. Their mission? Serving out a well earned detention.
"I am a shadow, the true self."
Isolde rolled her eyes, the deep roll that can only be the response of a life-long educator to teenage angst. "That's great. Really. Are you ready for your lesson or not".
"I am you, and you are me."
The educator rubbed her eyes wearily. Why did she sign up for this again? Beating the little punk to death would have been much easie... wait, this was the Duelling League.
"Well, we're just about done, Mr. Emo Wangsty Shadow Form. Would you prefer slow and horrible or sudden and painful? Ah, but why not both." And so Isolde used her entire impressive repertoire of attacks in sequence, probably finishing Mitsuo off somewhere in the middle of it.
Isolde smiled. Right. Not matter what ridiculous match conditions you agree to, you still win if you just say to hell with it and beat your opponent to death. It was never too late for that.

Tifa>>>Rebecca

Bullets are stronger than arrows. It's a simple fact that everyone knows.

Well, unless if the arrows are really huge and used by a super robot. Or if the arrows are really special due to some technological or magical mumbo-jumbo that lets it slay evil or at least blow stuff up really good. Or if the arrow-user is a superhero with arrow related superpowers. Or if the arrow-user is a costumed vigilante who comes equipped with a set of silly arrows equipped with boxing gloves or something. Or if the arrow-user has a name and the gun-users are just faceless grunts.

The point is, everyone knows that bullets are stronger than arrows, and since Tifa can shrug off bullets fired by the Shin-ra guards, Rebecca's arrows should pose no threat to her unless if Rebecca falls under one of the categories above, which she does, so this analogy is actually completely useless except as a non-sequitor Tifa used to distract Rebecca with so that Tifa can get close, grab Rebecca's bow, and smash it over the poor archer's head.

Peppita > Crowley

To be honest the result of this match was a foregone conclusion. There's really no arguing with Peppita's gigantic monster friend. Crowley unlike Luke had the foresight to not underestimate the little dancer having witnessed the swordsman's destruction at her wrath. Having also done his research and finding that Peppita could also null out his own power he also knew he'd be a laughing stock if he attempted to fruitlessly sling his spells around. To save himself much pain and ridicule Crowley forfeited the match, meeting with Peppita before hand and suggesting that instead of a fight she put on a show with her troupe instead. Sure he still went through the motions of having some pre match hype floating around for himself but at the end of the day that was all talk. Crowley knew that really trying to mess with the little dancer would be a bad idea and so with his wise decision not to he earned himself and the rest of the arena's audience a free performance by the Rossetti troupe instead.

Locke>Mustadio

And thus, after mulling over the situation a bit, Mustadio raised his gun and blew Ramza's head off.

...oh come on, it was obvious! Spy disguises himself as someone trustworthy and delivers the news to spread paranoia while avoiding putting suspicion on himself.

Just you wait, any minute now, Ramza's going to revert back to Locke.

...any minute now.

...aaaaaany minute now.

...once the, uh, little counter over his body ticks down to zero.

...that's, uh... how the mechanics work for FF6 characters, right?

And as Ramza's body disappeared and left behind a little crystal, a sad little tune began to sound and the words "Game Over" floated in giant font up in the sky. Mustadio realized then, that he is so going to get it from his team mates in the next game.

Then Locke popped up behind him to stab him in the back and steal his clothes, just out of principle.
