A glorious weekend of football.

I lied, it somehow got better.

Edit: The Patriots are so evil that they used Randy Moss as a weapon to completely crush the hopes and dreams of Vikings fans, and got a free third round draft pick out of it. Count me on the Patriots bandwagon for the season, especially if Moss goes back.

That level of supervillainry would be amazing.

Quote
“Yeah, Bill wears that mask around the office all the time,” said one high-ranking member of Patriots management. “It gets him into a comfort zone so he can devise plays. He thinks it gives him some sort of advantage, so we just let it go. Occasionally he breaks it out in front of the team, but that’s pretty rare – like, only when he’s going to choke someone to show the players he’s serious.”

Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

It's probably just a case of slow paperwork, but wouldn't it be funny if the Vikings forget to actually put Moss on waivers?

Childress/Vikings are filing tampering charges against the patriots (lol). He also released Moss without actually telling Moss or the Vikings front office.

To say this was poor personal judgment would be a slight understatement.

So the Dolphins and Bucs are 5-2....

Screw you all! The Phins won that game and that's how I will declare their record from now on!

Tomorrow morning, Favre will call a press conference where he fires Childress and appoints interim himself head coach.

Just think, Washington's QB depth will look like:

Russell
Grossman
McNabb

280 pounds?

Oh boy! Went 6-7 last week! Yippee! Puts me at 40-43 for the year, not good times. Oh well lets try once more!

~

Tampa Bay at Atlanta - Tampa has never started 4-0 on the road...
Chicago at Buffalo - Me thinks its time for Chcago to get exposed.
New England at Cleveland - It pains me to pick the Gaytriots.
NY Jets at Detroit - But I have a feeling!
New Orleans at Carolina - Not gonna happen.
Miami at Baltimore - The ROAD WARRIORS!
San Diego at Houston - Rebound.
Arizona at Minnesota - If tampa can do that to Arizona, the Viqueens should too.
NY Giants at Seattle - No Hasselbeck.
Indianapolis at Philadelphia - It's Peyton Manning.
Kansas City at Oakland - Home team?
Dallas at Green Bay - Dallas is laughable.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Big Ben rapes.

"Gaytriots"? Are you implying that homosexuality is a bad thing?

Hate New England all you want (which I expect you do), but don't be insensitive about it.

On the other hand, "Big Ben rapes" was fairly funny.

It's how I label them, and how I pronounce that stupid team whenever I get a chance to speak or bash them. Stop getting all hot and bothered by something someone said over the internet or yer gonna be peaved off in life all too much.

Gay is a term I use all the time in real life and I am certainly not going to bite my togue online for anyone.

Are you also upset I referrenced the Vikings as Viqueens? How dare I make something my own! The nerve!

I don't see why people get riled up about that word. Gay has many different meanings. Just like bad can mean good and cool can mean awesome. Gay, whenever I use it usually means something along the lines of lame.

"That's gay."

Same meaning, different phrasing.

The Flintstones had a gay ole time.

I don't care about anyones sexual orientation. I have a sparse few homosexual friends, and those are almost extinct because those people can't keep their hands to themselves when they drink.

(Ok, they aren't MY friends. It's more like they are my GFs friends and she enjoys their company...)

but still!

I remember when Decote Fag was covering Randell Gay. Now THAT was funny when the announcer commented about the coverage.

I think we should discontinue this line of discussion. And I am saying this as the mod of this forum. I feel like this could lead to nothing good.

Let's talk about how much I love Sam Bradford and how he's been pretty damn good so far. :)

And here I was looking forward to a forumsplosion.

So I'm disappointed that my preseason prediction won't come true. Not the Aaron Rodgers one, because that is happening. I mean my other one. I predicted Tony Overthromo would pass for 5,000 yards and almost 1,500 of them would be caught.

Colts and Packers for Cripple Bowl XLV, where it will be just a Aaron Rodgers vs. Peyton Manning boxing match. With the rate of injuries for both teams, I will not be surprised.

Freeman looks good too!

I might not agree that they are the best team in the NFC, but I will shit a chicken if my prediction of them going 10-6 comes true!

Well, I think the lesson here is don't be #1 in the power rankings and have to play the Browns .
