Seeing the Cowboys celebrate after a TD that left them only 21 points behind was hilarious.

All of my family members are Cowboys fans. I feel sorry for them, but not sorry enough. *dances*

I'm not sure what it says in the rulebook about starting the Norse god of thunder on your team but it is awesome.

That was the greatest Packers game I've seen since the 34-0 ass whipping of the Vikings in 2007.

Phillips is out. How many more coaches will be fired before the year is up?

If Childress loses to the bears, he's gone.

If not, he's gone when the Packers uncork the ass-beating of a lifetime on him.

Fun fact: the NFL picked this week to open free trials of its service that lets you watch any game from the past two years online.

Poor Lions. They had the talent and the chance to make some noise in the incredibly wide-open NFC and then this happens.

They're not going to do anything with Stanton. I'd almost suggest trading for Jason Campbell, given how much Al Davis apparently hates him.

Davis pushed to start Campbell, it was Cable/the team that wanted Gradkowsi to start.

Oh, whoops, brain fart. You're right, it was Cable.

I always default to assuming Al Davis is the source of irrational decisions when it comes to Oakland.

To be fair, Gradkowski had been better until these last couple games.

Really sucks about Stafford, though.  Puts the Lions in a pretty nasty spot, too.  He's obviously good, but the team looks like it's ready to take a step forward and not be a laughingstock and they need a quarterback to do that.  Can they really afford to stick with him and hope he can stay healthy when he'll have missed more games than he's played in the first two years of his career?

What if the Lions got the season shortened to eight games?

Speaking of...

What do you guys think about the proposed 18 game season?

Not going to go well, since the people in favor don't want to give the players two more game checks. Also, even more injuries, which means the super bowl will be even more about who is lucky enough to avoid injury.

You have to hope he can get over his early career injury woes. The shoulder is really concering, but he's flashed more than enough talent to make him worth sticking with.

You hold onto hill and draft another young QB late if Stanton is a flop and hope for the best. The Lions need that high draft pick to upgrade other parts of the team first (Like the gaping hole at FS or something on the offensive line).

Woooooooooo

Florida hat trick!

Went to the BUcs game, and goodness the stadium was so devoid of passion and people it was kinda sad.

Oh well I had a blast, and I even got scolded for being happy that Jacksonville and Miami won their games. Fans at the stadium were upset at me for being happy other teams had won. I will never understand the concept of a person only being able to like only one team. That's stupid and absurd.

The only bad thing I heard was that Miami lost both Chads (heh) and will have to start Tyler Thigpen Thursday.

You want to hear bad?  Miami's head office contacted JaMarcus Russell's agent tonight.  Prepare for the Wildfat offense!

The NFL keeps giving me situations where I am rooting for the Patriots, and it's going to happen at least twice more.  So weird.

Even if I rooted for the Packers, I'd much rather see the Lions beat the Patriots for sheer hilarity than watch yet another Lions loss.
