Eph has massive power, so four Silver Lance shots is four shots of above average damage (about 1.9 PCHP) and I definitely don't see Kato having that much.

Middle:

Peppita Rosetti (SO3) vs Jude Maverick (WA4): Pepitta isn't getting more than one turn, and I used Frozen Daggers a fair bit and don't have turn 1 status respect for it.

Ephraim (FE8) vs Masaji Kato (SH2) - Assuming that Ephraim is completely average with winning tiebreaks...  Turn order is probably Ephraim-Gem-Kato/Mirror/Sword on the first turn.  Assuming how much you respect Ring ailments, Gem has ITD Quick/Reverse/Fake Ring (which can ROYALLY screw over decent players unless they've mastered the Extreme to some weirdly high degree), and Mirror has Tempest Grace for a speed buff (SH2/3 speed buffs are godly).  Kato is probably getting his second turn before Ephraim does thanks to that buff, and I doubt Ephraim has the Evade to dodge all three hits that would royally screw him over.

Middle:

I'm assuming that Jude is choosing to block the most fatal status that he can (ID), leaving him vulnerable to Confusion.

I tend to think of Chaos as a unique status. It acts more like Paralysis than Confusion from what I recall, too. The target can't act and they slowly lose HP and MP (in rather large percentages IIRC).

*Does Jude still 2HKO Peppita if she uses Healing Dance > Frozen Daggers > HD > FD > HD > FD > HD? (she might be able to squeeze in another Frozen Daggers if she starts the chain the other way around (FD > HD), dunno haven't calculated that yet)

*Doesn't magic defence effect the chances of status landing in WA4 (haha, Yulie vs status etc?)

*Don't know if it matters or not but unlike Nel's Ice Daggers (which have more serious issues at L/R depending on enemy size - I say moar serious because ID has less hits and can even be reduced to only one per shot vs the very small ones, ID is great at S/R though) Frozen Daggers are homing (if the enemy moves Peppita will turn to throw any remaining daggers in the direction they ran in) - Jude can't run away that far!

I believe this is the case, so yes, Jude is raising FD's hit rate above what it is to average to me! (Not like it mattered much to me anyways).

EDIT: Also, a straight-up physical-based status hitting MDef doesn't register all that well to me. I'd sooner default it to checking evade (which the majority of physical status end up doing by default in a sense) or physical defense, which'd make more sense. It doesn't matter to Dhyer, but just throwing it out there. And WA4 MDef only affects magical, non-hex status from what I recollect.

Both the name, and the fact that the character runs around looking confused and behaving randomly. Honestly the only thing different about it from WA4's confusion is that SO3 confuse also acts as an HP/MP poison.

Thanks peeps. Yeah I was thinking PE. Mmmmmm Jude has to avoid/eat twenty shots of freeze or twenty five shots of ID (this is taking into account Jude's size, Kaboom hits moar vs bigger opponents) with FD > FD > FD > FD > FD or Kaboom > KB > KB > KB > KB. Status is definitely T1 against enemies with 16 SA resist since those are practically refrozen/chaosed as soon as they become unstatused. OK's rates (stat topic's first posts) are vs average though. I think Jude probably has average status/ID resist. Even giving Jude credit for his size though I don't think he quite manages to pull it off vs that many shots of FD/KB. Mainly though I take Peppita as average speed/respect her healing so yeah.

NEB - WA4 characters can also do other stuff than just run around (still attack, etc) I think. SO3 characters can't unless they were already doing something else when the chaos lands, in that case they are able to finish their move but then they run around unable to do anything at all (not even base physicals) until the status wears off (when you're in control of a chaosed character you can't do anything but run around aimlessly which is frustrating!)
