I especially like Ryudo's line about realising how little his mouthing off has really accomplished.
Kato Owns Nicholai (Shadow Hearts 2) vs.  Intro Scene (Wild ARMs 1): Is actually a scene. Pretty much establishes Kato as the big threat if he wasn't already, and decent for drama, although I do feel Ouka is too transient to have the impact she should have.

STYLE:
Opening (Parasite Eve) vs. Opening (Left 4 Dead): Is actually a scene that tells me about the game.
Team protects Souji from Plot Death vs. Asellus Mystic Ending (SaGa Frontier): Didn't we just see this last week? It still sucks. Asellus ending is pretty awesome on the other hand. I WILL HAVE MORE PRINCESSES!

HUMOR:
Cross-Examining Moe (Phoenix Wright 2) vs. Joachim/Ana spying on Yuri/Karin (Shadow Hearts 2): Aw, too bad, both are good. But I have to support Phoenix Wright here, its comedy is just much more up my alley than most things in RPGs, and this scene alone has several parts that are pure gold: the references to Bel-Air and the three stooges, Moe's random cry for help mid-trial, and the "so bad they're good" jokes.
Bar Fight (Dragon Quest VIII vs. Maderas Battle Opening (Disgaea): I think. While hitting Laharl with both of his weaknesses at once is pretty funny, that's about all the scene really has. Still decent, but I think I prefer the completely random bar fight with the silly antics involved (Yangus lifting the chair with someone on it, etc.).

Kato Owns Nicholai (Shadow Hearts 2) vs.  Intro Scene (Wild ARMs 1) - Think WA1 works better under style?  Great scene, but...doesn't fit into this category as well.

STYLE:
Opening (Parasite Eve) vs. Opening (Left 4 Dead) - Is quite possibly the most awesome openings ever.  It works as an instruction manual for the game, shows off everything (except the Boomer and Molotov, as well as the First Aid Kit and Pills...but those latter 2 are kind of obvious >_>), and is ungodly pretty and stylish.  Only complaint against it is the difficulty in hearing some of the voices (the lines are AWESOME if you can hear them, but it's hard - Louis in particular).  Really does the game justice.
Team protects Souji from Plot Death vs. Asellus Mystic Ending (SaGa Frontier) - ...bleh.  I didn't like the Asellus Mystic Ending.  Really preferred the Human Ending.  The plot death protection used an in-game mechanic in a plot sense, which was cool, and the lines from Straight-Jacket-Goddess are pretty cool.

Team protects Souji from Plot Death vs. Asellus Mystic Ending (SaGa Frontier)- Integrating gameplay mechanics into plot is a plus, but that's all the Summon to Yomi sequence has going for it stylistically.  Evil Lesbian Overlord meanwhile is pretty well infinity style points.

Cross-Examining Moe (Phoenix Wright 2) vs. Joachim/Ana spying on Yuri/Karin (Shadow Hearts 2)- Ana's utter command over Joachim is always worth a smile.  Awesomely, I think the other half of the scene would sweep this week's drama nods!  I love this game.

Man Eating Spores (Suikoden)  vs. Serph rips Vritra a new one (Digital Devil Saga 2)- I think, ultimately, Suikoden being low-tech helped it out.  Since they didn't have any goofy death throes or what not, the scene kept a mostly serious tone and worked pretty well (honestly, this scene is one of the reasons Tir's probably the best silent main).  In contrast, Vritra's death animation there is just silly and really kills the mood.

Oh, I should note, these write-ins weren't serious at all. They are definitely just abstains, but with a bit more flavor (and more drama clearly!)In humor, I like the Etna scene, but I don't find it funny. The DQ 8...I don't like.

In the WTF category, I actually thought neither of the scenes were anywhere near as bad as the previous week's and didn't feel strongly.

"Millenia's speech re: Eye of Valmar" (Grandia II)  vs. Yumei's Story (Valkyrie Profile) - Hmm.. it seems to be a pretty sweeping victory for Millenia, but I always found Yumei's story to be one of the best self-contained little fables in VP1. It was the scene that finally made me care about the individual Einherjar plots because they could be entertaining on their own. I particularly found Yumei's story to really epitomize a 'somber fairy tale'.
