The brave ranger of the Magvel is a simple man. He seeks not wealth nor fame nor great power among men, but valor and, perhaps, a fair hand to join with his through the years. Yet it seems his doom is one of never ending battle, even against those fighting for their own honor and houses. The half-elven Arche, an enchantress of highest calibur, would be a mighty companion for a man such as Gerik, and between them even the most impossible tasks might be achieved. But instead he must pierce her with arrows, and so bring her to ruin. A cruel fate for brave ranger Gerik.
