Is there anything on the new Nightwish album that can really stand up to some of their best stuff though? Although my vote for best would probably be a three way tie between Over the Hills and Far Away, the Pharoah Sails to Orion, and Ghost Love Score (Granted, I only recently found that one, so I still might be on a new music high there).

Speaking of new music: The Offspring- Hammerhead. The first 2.5 minutes of this song are awesome. The rest is getting edited it very soon, I think.

The Islander, Last of the Wilds. I think we like different songs of their stuff though, Over the Hills and Ghost Love Score are not really ones I really like, I like Kinslayer , Beauty and the Beast, Romanticide and things like that a bit more. Pharoah Sails to Orion is good though, but not as much emphasis on the drums as I would like.

I am big on a strong drum and bass line and though, so yeah. Milage in metal clearly varies there.

Edit - In that I like don't really expect you to jump from Nightwish to Fear Factory going nuts on Smasher Devourer/Securitron 2000/Edge Crusher or some Sepultura.

The new CD? I liked seven days to the wolves quite a bit, and..w hat was it. The heart I once had? My favorite song from the band is still I wish I had an angel though. EDIT: Assuming the latest Nightwish album is dark passion play.
