David Bowie - Buddha of Suburbia.
My first new actual Bowie release for months now. Pretty decent stuff and far more mellow than the stuff just before it and the last three albums that are what I consider "modern" Bowie (Outside through to Reality). You can see the ebb of his career just after the Tin Machine stuff fell through. Can't remember if it is before or after Black Tie, White Noise (which I also lack and want to listen to), but I think it was before and I predict being able to see the up beat that ties them together in Black Tie, White Noise (which is a pretty easy prediction considering the album was written when he got married and it is about him getting married, you know a fairly positive event).
Checking, Buddha of Suburbia and Black Tie White Noise came out same year. Black Tie White Noise first, but hmmmmm, Buddha of Suburbia is soundtrack for a documentary I believe, could be older than its release. Unsure. Still interesting anyway.
