Blastoise (vs Jacques) (And vice versa)
« on: June 26, 2010, 01:07:37 AM »
Blastoise:
Evolution takes many forms, be it from a tiny Squirtle to a hulking Blastoise, or from a simple bow and arrow to massive built-in water cannons. Blastoise knows for a fact that he holds the technological advantage over his opponent. Not only that, but the defensive one as well. Jacques' aim is going to have to be really good, because crossbow bolts will tink right off Blastoise's hardened shell. His offense will be more than enough in this case, and wouldn't you know it, his speed is adequate for once as well. Slow and steady will have no choice but to win the race this time!

Jacques:
Some may say that the large, over-sized crossbow that Jacques carries is overcompensating for something. That's neither here nor there, but if true, how awkward is it to be facing someone like Blastoise with not one, but TWO large cannons on it's back? Still, it's all about how you use it. Back mounted weapons are notoriously inaccurate, and Jacques' has an absolute dead-eye that allows him to take full advantage of his own weapon. Neither fighter is that fast, so every hit will count. When that is the case, you can count on Jacques capitalizing every time.
