Canas (FE7) [S41] vs Yukiko Amagi (Pers4) [S54] - Um. Okay, this is a really weird fight. Yukiko 5HKOs Canas with Maragidyne (she wants to use this to avoid counters), possibly doubles him if he uses Luna, but likely not if he uses Nosferatu (he gets doubled by average, but not by much. This means that trying to slug it out is likely out of the question, she can't outpace Nos healing before running out of MP because Maragidyne is expensive and she's also healing every so often (he's not 2HKOing her with anything even with Miori, but the 3HKO is easy). So she has to go for status. Silence and Confuse aren't enough: considering she 7HKOs Canas with her physical, P4 status has to run out before reapplying and he -is- going to go for Luna/Nos liberal swapping for the hope of a crit and keeping himself up (Luna crit is mass overkill to Yukiko HP here), so she'll have to land it -twice- and it's just too much time she needs when she can only apply it every other turn (counters). So, Enervate she goes - stat halving just gives her the oomph to mangle Canas enough to win. However, she needs about four turns ignoring Canas' (shoddy, but non-inexistent) evade. Going with Miori, this means she's likely eating a couple non-evaded shots, but that'd be... about two shots of Luna at most, and Yukiko luck is solid enough to reduce Canas' crit rate from turn three, I suspect. -Still-, we also need to peg down exactly how good Enervate is. If it effectively halves Canas' durability and damage, I think she's got a good shot of getting it, since it also nukes his accuracy. Going for saying "yes", even the -ndas that aren't nearly as good as halving stats have quite a strong effect there. -Very- RNG-dependant match, though.
