Well, this week we'll pit the losers against eachother too so that maybe we'll have some slightly-more-balanced matches.

No hype for Parasol here? I mean, isn't Gadgeteer's offense even -named- the same thing as WA1's Parasol-blockable spells?

Nope. Items explicitly get around the magic-stopping stuff in XF. Also Illusion, which nails just about everything else that isn't an item. Hell no does Parasol stop it.

Much like Malik's moves explicity get around magic-stopping stuff in WA3 which uses the exact same system?

What exactly is Jude's plan here?  Fine, he can't be OHKOed thanks to the FF7 damage cap topping out an average durability OHKO, not a Jude-durability one.  But no way 2x Silver Launcher or Physical->AB KOs for Jude.  I guess if Jude doesn't need to Mystic his items, then he can infinitely heal off Yuffie and slowly hurt on doubles and just eat whatever limit she gets?  I don't recall WA4 healing berries being full for Jude's excellent HP, though.  Maybe I'm forgetting the full-HP one.

Holy Berry is full healing, but you have to synth them.  I think they were relatively easy though.

Silver Launcher -> physical -> Assault Buster resolves before 105% speed.  Physical x2 -> Assault Buster resolves before 122% speed.  FF7 stat topic puts Yuffie at either 117% or 107% speed, so at least the physical x2 -> Assault Buster goes off first.  Silver Launcher -> physical -> Assault Buster still does if you don't respect FF7 speed much.

And physical x2 + Assault Buster should easily kill Yuffie's bad durability. Heck, one Assault Buster comes darn close from the averages posted. Even replacing Jude's "Assault Buster" with "Silver Launcher + physical + Assault Buster, measured over 2 rounds" (which is an unreasonable thing to put in averages I'd argue, but ANYWAY) then the kill point still doesn't rise so high that 2 physicals and Assault Buster don't kill average, let alone Yuffie. Funny how the second best damage-dealer in the cast is able to 3HKO average.

Also relevant here is that by back-ending his damage, Jude avoids any limits nicely. Whatever you see the kill point at, Jude will be able to avoid dropping Yuffie below half HP since the final Assault Buster deals well over half his total damage.

That depends on what average you use but very possible. Regardless, Jude can tank a L1 limit and one Yuffie turn, if it comes to that, and that'll be the most he provokes. Yuffie opting to use that L1 for healing is suicide because she doesn't get the benefit of the half-gauge a second time so she'll only get off one limit max, so at -most- this might give her two of her own turns, which again aren't killing Jude pdur.

If, like me, you see physical + AB killing, then this doesn't trigger a limit even when starting with half a gauge. The AB being 5x the damage of the physical does that. <_<

EDIT: To be clear, Jude can avoid triggering a L2 (or beyond) even with an initial half gauge.

Chemist (FFT) vs. Jessica (MK:AoAR, DL-legal) - Gets through Auto-Potion before Chemist gets through her healing probably.
