Lost Odyssey
« on: December 27, 2010, 09:06:27 AM »
Notes
1. Levels- Taken at level 52, since that's where the human PCs learn their final skills

2. Immortals- The game has 4 immortals: Kaim, Seth, Sarah and Ming; These are PCs that learn skills either from equipment like FF9, or from human PCs. As such, they mostly only have what they start with, although I did give them stat boosting equipment to reflect the fact that they end up crushing human PCs in a few stats, as well as scaled up Ming and Sarah's skillsets (They both start with level in White and Black magic, and without the scaling, they'd have bad damage that would skew the average).
-->Not DL relevant, but after being killed, they revive two turns later with minimal HP.

3. Stat Blockers- The game has storebought status blockers for Poison, Blind, Transform, Sleep, Curse, Fear, Silence, Paralysis, Freeze, Darkness (Similar to Grandia Plague). Jansen can equip two accessories, and arguably can get two. Sed can equip three, and makes it irrelevant by having the unique all-status blocker anyways.

4. Speed- I made these all up, since the game uses two speed systems that aren't wholly numerical and don't mesh. Basic physicals use speed where the lower the better. Spells use letter grades, where the higher the better. These don't factor in character's innate casting speeds, but do factor in “Casting Up” skills. Also, spells theoretically include the number of turns to go off, and then throws that out the window by having any after about 1-L speed going off on turn two anyways.

Physical skills didn't have their speeds listed (Nor did items, which obviously aren't duelling applicable unless you want to give them to Sed).

5. Status- Some of the statuses run into immunity absurdly often, even going back to enemies that exist before you'd have solid access to the status. The big status, Stone, is not one of these, which makes sense Jansen basically has to cheat to make it awesome. All status is 100% against non-immune enemies. These includes Splitter, the HP halver.

6. Rings- These aren't storebought or unique, but I did allow Damage up 2, as you have plenty of them in game for all PCs by the end, it's fairly easy to get, and it more accurately reflects the damage curve. Without them, basic physical damage drops by 33%.

7. Unlisted spells and techs- I didn't list ones that I just didn't see any DL application or ones like Lost, the only status without a perfect hit rate (Edit Note: Haha, "perfect" hit rate)

8. Be thankful I don't see fit to inflict pictures on you. I'd do my best to find the most absurd part of several character's designs, but Ming makes it impossible to pick just one.

Force+Strong Spell: 2900 Magic Damage, 65% Speed
Stone x 2: 100% Fatal Petrify (2 Checks), 67% Speed

Strong Spell+Forceus: 5200 Magic Damage, 50%** Speed
Forceus x 2: 5600 Magic Damage, 48%** Speed
**All of these combos activate on turn 2, generally right after Seth's physical (So, fast on turn 2). This theoretically about works.

Evade: 7

Physical Attack Approx- 1115 (745)......(1895 (1265 under Powerus), 122% Speed
**Note that Mack's weapon is found at the end of Temple of Enlightment, which is basically an aftergame dungeon. Without this, his basic physical drops about 75 points.

Skills
Combo- 1490 (2530 under Powerus), 87% Speed
3 Combo- 2235 (3800 under Powerus), 45% Speed

Spirit Magic
Powerus- Boost Physical Damage by Approximately 70% on Mack, 75% Speed

Ailment Break- Immunes Status, 72% Speed, 30 MP
Dodger- Increases Evasion to about 30% (35% Raw), 95% Speed, 5 MP
**Big note that I'm unsure how long this lasts. It doesn't have the same notations as all the other stat ups/downs/status in game, but does seem to do something
Speeda- Boosts basic physical 10-15% speed wise, 82% Speed, 15 MP
Faster- Boosts 3 Combo to approximately 80% Speed, 72% Speed, 30 MP
Fear: 100% Chance of Fear (70% Chance of Cancelling Physicals)
**Please note, unsure whether it kicks on physical techs. Techs aren't absurdly rare, but Fear seems to be one of those statuses with tends to run into immunity a lot. Not overly inclined to extend it extra for that reason.
Reset- Cancels enemy stat boobs, 72% Speed, 30 MP

MING
HP: 1968 (1640 Base)...(72%)

TOLTEN
HP: 3836 (2740 w/o 40% HP)...(140%) (100% w/ other accessory)
MP: 140
Atk: 890
Def: 399.....(Cuts by 45 or 4%)
Acc: 76 (90%)
Mdef: 26....(Takes extra ~5 or 0.5%)
Evade: 4

Tolten can choose between his unique accessories that offer:
--+40% HP (Default Choice)
--Nulling all of Fire/Water/Wind/Earth Damage
--Auto Shield or Barricade

Weapon Guard: 20% chance of Nulling Physicals
Persistence: OPB Guts (Revival at 1 HP)
MP Guard: Damage taken from MP instead of HP when HP is low (Doesn't guard spillover, making it pretty DL useless)
Counter Guard: Guards against enemy counters (Given that enemies only counter when you miss, betting that this stops them 100%)
Absord Guard: Nullifies HP and MP absorption
Power Guard: Strengthens Tolten's Defend Command

Physical Attack- 1510 Damage (1005) Damage, 114% Speed

Break Hit (30 MP)- 1310 ITD Damage, Ignores Other Considerations (GC, Protect...etc), 85% Speed
Ultimate Hit (100 MP)- 5250 ITD Damage, Ignores Basically all extra considerations, Removes Party GC and makes Tolten unable to act for several turns afterwards, 22% Speed, 100 MP
Complete Defense- Nullifies Damage for Until Next Turn, ~100% Speed, 20 MP
Award Metal (20 MP)- Boosts stats of one Ally

SED
HP: 2740...(100%)
MP: 90
Atk: 1011
Def: 454........(Cuts by 236 or 21% with Auto Shield)
Acc: 91 (~110% Accuracy)
Mdef: 24........(Cuts by 264 or 24% with Auto Barricade)
Evade: 9  (~9% Relative Evasion)

Auto-Shield and Barricade- Cuts damage (Numbers seen above)
Immunes Status (and Likely ID and Stat Downs) thanks to his unique accessory, Angel Guard

Physical Attack- 1650 (1100) Damage, 118% Speed

Magic Seal (20 MP)-Nulls enemy's next spell, 105% speed
Counter Seal (20 MP)- Nulls enemy's next counter, 105% Speed
Double Item- Can use two items in a row; ~118% Speed; Sliver of argument for making items DL legal for him similar to Mystic users. There aren't any items that can only be used by this.
Item Up- Boosts item power by 50%, although obviously has no effect on Heal Fulls!
