He has never before received a Get Well card in 40 years of teaching. What the hell.

Ex-girlfriend of mine was shocked I got her a gift for Valentine's day because none of her ex-boyfriends had.  Yes, there are seriously socially inept people out there.

You mean your years hanging around with us didn't drive -that- fact home as is?

Depends who breaks off the relationship, I think.  There's situations where giving a Valentine's day gift would be very socially awkward.

I think he might mean that he was dating her at the time. If so, his lawyer-fu is still weak, as this is the kind of context you need to be specific about.

"A girl, whom I was dating at the time but am no longer dating, was shocked I got her a gift of (1) XXXXX for the Valentine's Day of February 14th, 200X, because none of the people she previously dated had. Yes, in my opinion that is not the expressed view of the RPGDL or my workplace, there are quite socially inept people out there.

Thanks, Kev.  In my defense, I was fairly drunk when I posted that.  Consider me chastened.

Well. No point in moving out now, unless we're foreclosed or something. Meh. Life.

Onto more interesting things, Charles is trying to help me find a new job. (: This is cute.

For that Toriyama needs a second chance, and he actually deserve a second chance as he actually see the errors he made during directing FF13..... just for the love of god WHY he still think he does not fail at writing and believes massive grinding fest to be good game design. FF13-2 become a mutated form of monster hunter would be the worst thing that can occur at this point.

On the other hand, Nomura's yaoi fanboyness once again exceeds my expectation. His casting for FFVS13 is really that of an otome game. Seriously, Suzuki Tatsuhisa then Kakihara Tetsuya, and Miyano Momoru????? And I am really really sure Miyano is there due to various sorts of favoritism. At this rate, production out of Development 1st are going to become otome game franchise before anyone can put a stop to it.

None of that made any sense. People involved with Final Fantasy will never realize they are bad at what they do because their fanbase is retarded. You know how easy it is to impress a retard?

Absolutely disgusting!

On a sidenote, let's hope that this graduate school fiasco ends today. Let's also hope that I find a nice book on MSA at the library today, and perhaps, another french book that is in french! That is all, I really have nothing to say. Well, with my day off, I reckon I can finish my FF13 soundtrack and start on Nier.

I'm actually really enjoying my job. This is... weird. Good, but weird.

(Though I'm still horribly underpaid, and I still don't mesh well with my manager's style. ... 4.5 more weeks...)

So, I just had a small chat with Super and realized I should probably get my resume/cover letters reviewed seeing as how I've written a lot but haven't heard back from any. Anybody want to help me out? I can probably mail you my stuff/PM it or along with others things as needed.
