Tentative dates for DL-Con Florida are June 7th-10th 2012, if that helps anyone.

Early summer is good for me. Soonest we're planning on leaving is late August.

In unrelated news, got the offer for localization work. Woo. Unfortunately, there is only a dollar raise, no PTO, no sick days, no nada. Going to turn down the offer. My company doesn't much like its employees, it seems.

But in better news, I has fishies in the fishy tank.

Seeing as those dates do not happen to be after July 24-26, I will not be in attendance.

I have now officially had two medical institutions independently tell me I have a drinking problem.  To celebrate, Chu-hai and Sho-chuu.

That reminds me, for the first few days I was here I kept getting 同僚(どうりょう)(douryou), co-worker and 泥棒(どろぼう)(dourobou), thief confused.

Thankfully I think the people at the Board of Education just assumed I was screwing up my Japanese instead of calling them thieves.  Either that or I'm getting deported soon.

Well, by the standards of Asians.  It's a fucking continent of people who hold their liquor worse than my 12-year-old cousin.

Nah, the first medical institution to tell me I drink a lot was American.

Okay when I say drinking problem I mean I drink a lot.  I think the pamphlet I got told me to quit but it also said this real skinny dude needs to lose weight so whatevs.  The only real problem I have with drinking is that I can't buy Chu-hai at any of the nearby grocery stores.

So, posting here because I probably shouldn't on the facebook thread.

Emo-time? Emo-time.

So I met an awesome, sexy, age-appropriate, nerdier-than-me, speaks-four-languages, runway model who actually really likes me... and is moving to Atlanta in 5 days.

Fuck my life? Oh yes, fuck my life.

The sex was great though. Slightly-less-emo.

What is it with people moving to Atlanta? Fuck Atlanta. I can't wait until it falls into the fucking ocean.  It's rapidly moving up past Salt Lake City on my list of places to nuke when I get my hands on some bombs following the collapse of society.

I guess Djinn never did clarify if this was a man model or a woman model.  Could be either.
