Just curious to how everyone's year went. I like to reflect on the past year come New Year's Eve, it's a good time to feel how your life is going.

2010 was a complete turnaround year for me. Going from an okay, but ultimately short-term job to government work in an area I never expected to be was quite a shock. However, it's also brought me tons of amazing experiences, a great environment to be around in spite of the high tension and, of course, a good paycheck along with myriad benefits. It's like I suddenly had to jump straight into adulthood from the stilted childhood I lived for my whole life. This has been quite the ride, and I can only hope I can grow as much as I did in 2010. Here's to a great year, hoping the next ones will be just as fruitful.

Pretty good. I'm as completely befuddled to my future as always, but I did a ton of travelling and got over a couple of tough spots with education. So hey.

My year was great. It was good professionally and personally, with a lot of fun had in most spheres. I sorta dread 2011 since the early signs for it are poor. Losing a good boss and the person that covers you when you're off at work in the same week blows.

Decent enough year for me. But a really, really, FANTASTICALLY shitty one for some of my closest freinds. So...eh. On the one hand I'm alright. On the other...well.

Not so great for me. Had to move a bunch, my friends lives back in Oregon are shit, my dad makes a lot less money than he used to, and I am still without a job. But hey I got my foot in the door at college and still get by.

Despite home financial issues, I've done things I had never done last year. This is definitely a plus. I also had a better social life.

Somewhere between good and okay. A couple of high points (mostly the summer and finding out that I passed), but it was filled with loads of tedium and several months of basically not doing much. It was studying but tedium studying.

Still see Capt. K. Much much better than 2009 which was terrible aside from graduating from Masters. 2010 had some decent surprises but several low points. Doubt any year will be as good as 2008, but hey, who knows.

I won some awards at work and have stepped up the things I do at no extra pay, so I guess it was technically a good year career wise heading towards the career I never wanted.

Had a great holiday this year though, so it was worth it. I just wish I could do my good holidays and still be able to take some other time off during the year. 5 day weeks constantly just completely takes it out of me. I probably invest to much of myself into my job, if I was lazier it would work better, but someone went and gave me some shade of work ethic that haunts me. It certainly isn't as strong as it is in my parents or my elder brother, but still there. The sad thing is we aren't even brought up Protestant.

I don't really remember anything in particular happening, which is pretty reflective of the year as a whole. 2010 was all ideas and very little execution. And then shit hit the fan at the weirdest times, derailing what fragile plans I had made. Well... yeah.

Glad it's over, I guess? Not sure if I'm quite ready for another year yet, but here goes anyway!

On the whole, bad. Mucho problems with depression, college, friends, family and being forced to move out. On the flip side, I have this nagging thing in the back of my mind telling me the year wasn't completely crap, so I guess it could have been worse? Besides, I can remember some specifically good moments, so I'll just say

Had a good year. Naturally I had my fill of less-than-stellar moments, but when things get terrible at least you know things can only get better. My family is mostly in good health, I'm still on track with everything, I've made friends and lost a few. Overall I don't dislike the year. Sure, wish I would've had a better ending, but that just means the start of this year'll be better when it gets good. I'll be able to appreciate it more rather than take it for granted.

A busy year. Just as stressful as 2009 for me, which is saying a lot, but I've managed to push through the worst of it and I feel like I'm getting somewhere in life. That's a pretty damn good feeling, and it goes a long way toward making what has been a really grueling experience in law school worth it.

Easily the most physical pain I've ever been in (manifested in about five varieties throughout the year).

My job closed on my birthday while I was in another country fresh out of the hospital.

So naturally I voted great. (What? It has been! ^_^)

Ought to hang out with Dunie, more, though (have we actually only hung out once? We need to fix this...).

Uneventful, so I guess "Okay" option for me.

I have a steady part time job at least, so at least that means I'm better off than I was for the first half off 2009. I swapped my major, and now there looks to be I'm finally going down a track with a genuine end in sight.

That's...about the extent of things noteworthy that happened, I suppose. Well, I guess the last few months were nice cause my brother wasn't in the house <_< >_>
