Don't see a 2012 version. Anyway, TF2 castings! Why? I dunno:

Scout: Soppy. Trolls people with weapon heckling. Bonus points for having formerly run track.
Soldier: Trips. YOU ARE ALL BLEEDERS FOR NOT BEING TO STOMACH THIS TF2 FANFICTION
Pyro: Meeple. No one really understands what he says. Also more importantly, has a HADOUKEN
Demoman: Zenny. Would probably fight drunk on the battlefield and can still kick ass
Heavy: Eph. Runs around on the battlefield trying to make you laugh. Screams gloriously when back-stabbed.
Engineer: Hal. Builds Sentries to shoot DLers
Sentry: Hatbot. Shoots DLers
Medic: Laggy. Is totes broken. Also, the Meet the Medic video pretty much summarizes Laggy hacking philosophy. "Is this going to work?!" "I HAVE NO IDEA

Archemedies: Trancey. Laggy's pet birdy~
Sniper: Grefter. Would probably throw piss at people in battle. Being Aussie is a bonus.
Spy: Jim. Appears to only deliver awesome. Would totally be all "You got blood on my suit" after stabbing someone. Also sleeps with Soppy's mom. You just don't know it yet.
Admin: mc. Don't ask why. Just feels like a very mc role.

Fang: NEB. Strongest woman in the world!
Vanille: Ciato, since she is in a loving and monogamous relationship with Fang. Alternately: CT for being very Vanille~
Snow: Snow.
...Okay not really, more like OblivionKnight in terms of genuine "desire to be a hero" overthetop bullshit!
NORA People: Three OK clones. And a female OK clone.
Lightning: No one is 'cool' enough / personality-less enough to be Lightning, so... Hatbot!
Sazh: I guess Niu... for being ethnic and eccentric? Captain K for having a kid?

Serah: hmm... Jim. I would have said "Djinn" since I'm also a teacher for young kids, but I'm just not monogamous for Serah. Jim seems monogamous enough.

Harry Dresden casting!

Harry Dresden- VSM. Harry is literally VSM, down to the *incredible* life decisions he makes. I would give much to see Harry and Fitzchivalry Farseer get into a life decisions contest, on that note.

Karrin Murphy- No one here precisely fits her.

Thomas Raith- Djinn. And no, this isn't a 'Djinn is a ho' casting, Thomas really fits him personally.

Bob- Shale. Wisecracking floating skull.

Billy Borden- Andy.

Molly Carpenter- Ciato.

Waldo Butters- Tal.

Michael Carpenter- Pyro.

Charity Carpenter- Lady Door. Cool exterior, but kicks ass when she's pushed.

Jared Kincaid- Trips.

John Marcone-Rob. No one is really cool enough to be Gentleman Johnny, but Rob's the closest fit.

Donald Morgan- Tai.

Justine- CT.

Hendricks- Gate. I can see him shoulder tackling the undead.

Lara Raith- Snow. Just fits, even down to the comical relationship with VSM.

Lea- Elfboy.

Mortimer Lindquist- Cmdr.

Ebenezar McCoy- Yakko. Mostly nice, but god help the person who really pisses him off.

Sanya- Jim. The wiseass who saves the day.

Carlos Ramirez- Soppy. Same type of personality.

Nicodemus- Grefter. Eats babies.

Ramirez, in my mind, will always be Leonardo DiCaprio's character from The Quick and the Dead. I would bet a lot of money thats who he modeled the character off of. It just fits too goddamn well. I think they even have verbatim lines.

If he was still around, the Morte link would favor Strago for Bob.

Kincaid is Rob. Much like Murph, no one really fits Marcone.

Strago was/is a bit too much of a straight man to be Bob. I'll concede that Rob has an excellent argument to fit as Kincaid. He just fits Marcone as well, even down to the sense of style.

Cmdr: Kneejerk. It fits with the way the books portray him.
