Yep. Exactly how it sounds. Broken up into an easy, harder, and super bonus category. Granted, not really sure how to group them, but I tried my best.

You get a short, sarcastic plot summary and your job is to tell me what anime it is describing.

3. D&D party invades Japan.
4. Sociopath uses video games to lure women into relationships.
5. People waste a lot of money.

Hacker uses a Salinger quote in his logo and it becomes a big deal.

2. Young boy in job training misses the point. - Naruto  1/14

Loudmouthed ninja in orange. Yep. Golden Boy was a popular answer here, but I would've said "Man in job training" there. Grats to Alex for getting this.

3. D&D party invades Japan. - Record of Lodoss Wars  6/14

Not really happy with how I worded this, but whatever. But the show is based on the creator's D&D game and it shows.

4. Sociopath uses video games to lure women into relationships. - The World God Only Knows  7/14

Pretty much the actual show.

5. People waste a lot of money. - Eden of the East  4/14

Probably also my favorite of these. I thought this might be a gimmie. I was wrong. Surprised how many people thought this meant Haruhi S2, or any other overrated show fanboys bought on DVD, not that I didn't expect a few of those...

6. Racial stereotypes are funny. - G-Gundam  2/14

Incredibly corny gundam designs based on country of origin. I figured people might think this was Hetalia, which was a popular answer. Was one of those fine lines between punchline and clarity.

7. Notorious criminal goes unpunished.  - Trigun  2/14

Yep. A little too vague though, I'll admit.

8. Otaku are the greatest threat facing the Earth. - Nadesico  4/14

This was one of those perfect storms of clarity and punchline. Sad so few got it.

9. Vigilante group flagrantly disregards national sovereignty, endangers schoolchildren. - Full Metal Panic  2/14

I worried I was being too specific here. I guess I was wrong!

10. Quentin Tarantino directs an anime. - Baccano!  1/14

This was me being dumb. I've always thought Baccano mirrored Pulp Fiction's non-linear storytelling style waaaay too closely. I'll apologize for this one. Congrats to Jim for getting it.

11. Long distance relationships suck. - Voices of a Distant Star  9/14

Kinda obvious I guess. Wasn't sure how many people actually saw this though.

12. The newest fads are incredibly dangerous. - Air Gear  0/14

Air Treks are shown in the beginning of the show/manga to be the hottest new craze... but even off the shelf models can shoot you around at 60MPH and are capable of crazy and dangerous stuff.

13. Two lesbians fight each other. - Ga-Rei Zero  1/14

This is the entire show (Save the first ep). Congrats to Xer for getting this one!

14. Earth wastes 10,000 years. - Gunbuster  3/14

Me being snarky about the ending. Heheh.

15. Trash collector moves up in the world. - Planetes  7/14

Obvious if you've seen it. Another one I wasn't sure if a lot of people had seen.

Super Bonus- Boy meets future wife by having serious ups. - Kimagure Orange Road  0/14

Super Bonus is Super Bonus. In the beginning of the show, Kyosuke meets Madoka after using his ESP to jump about 10 feet to catch her hat, which had blown away in the wind.

I didn't bother to send in guessese to my feeble anime knowledge, but I find it amusing that Soppy calls 7 vague when I remember reading this list and going "oh, that's surely Trigun". Granted, I'd have gotten literally nothing else. <_<

1. Isaac Newton is a dick. - Escaflowne 6/10

Anyone who has seen Escaflowne should know this one outright. Not spoiling it otherwise.

2. Kid has trouble picking soda. - FLCL - 1/10

Each girl had an analogous type of drink. Haruko = Pulpy, Mamimi = Sour, Ninamori = Sweet. Which resulted in some nice bits like Naota forcing himself to drink a sour soda, even though he doesn't like it, which mirrors him hanging around Mamimi even though he doesn't like her much. SYMBOLISM, BITCHES! Wording prooooobably should have been drink instead of soda, but oh well. Kudos to Andy for getting this.

3. Student recieves mail-order bride. - Oh! My Goddess! - 5/10

Yep. Technically over the phone, but that would've been a dead giveaway.

4. Mankind destroyed by extradimensional seahorses. - Noein - 1/10

The designs on some REALLY look like seahorses. Kudos to Cid for getting it.

5. Schoolchildren turned on by cars. - Revolutionary Girl Utena - 6/10

Car = Sex. Yep. 6 people do not fail.

6. Office workers save the world. - Dai-Guard - 4/10

Pretty much the tagline of the show.

7. Deadbeat accepts charity from the wealthy. - Hayate the Combat Butler - 1/10

Pretty self-explanatory here. Coulda sworn more people knew about it, but oh well. Boy in huge debt is hired as a bulter by wealthy little girl. Kudos to Pyro on this one.

8. Young liches in training. - Magical Girl Madoka - 1/10

Not going too deeply into this one. Suffice to say, watch this. Kudos to Pyro again.

9. Highschooler a potential polygamist. - Ranma 1/2 - 3/10

My curveball of the quiz. Heheh. Ranma, unlike most other harem protags, is "legitimately" engaged to most of the girls in the show.

10. Kids fail basic chemistry. - Full Metal Alchemist - 1/10

I honestly expected this to be a gimmie... shows how much I know. Yeah, FMA tries for scientific accuracy, but fact remains that CHEMISTRY DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. Kudos to Gate for getting this one.

11. Angel goes through extreme lengths to delay marriage proposal. - Aquarion - 1/10

Love story that spans millions of years as the angel Apollonius consistantly skirts around a committed relationship. Also there are robots. Good job to Snowfire getting it.

12. College student abuses time travel to avoid paying tuition. - Tatami Galaxy - 2/10

Me being slightly facetious on this one, but possibly true! Watch this show. Honestly. Seriously. For serial. Super serial.

13. Teenager has serious gender and identity issues. - Birdy the Mighty: Decode - 2/10

Yeaaaah. That AND makes a huge difference. Sorry folks for adding it late. Ranma might have gender issues, but he at least knows who he is. Tsukomu is trapped in the female body of a completely seperate person.

14. Anime skirts strict plagarism laws. - Gankutsuou: Count of Monte Cristo - 2/10

Vague question of the quiz. Doma guessed Romeo and Juliet, which was good but not quite it. Tempted to give partial credit.

15. Writers peruse Advanced Psych book, hit random buttons on sound board. - Ghost Hound - 1/10

Toooooons of psychology babble, with some innovative and AWESOME sound direction. Too bad it's average everywhere else, almost. Kudos to Jim.

Bonus. Students overcome serious gastrointestinal disease. - DNA^2 - 0/10

Main character throws up Stan Marsh style every time he speaks to a woman. Minor girl character can't stop farting when around boys. Yep. 90's anime, folks. Classy.

And of the 10 total I got across both quizes, I've only actually seen 5/10 .  Hurrah for anime osmosis / wild-ass guessing skillz.  Also, utter fail for forgetting about Full Metal Alchemist (which I also have not seen), as I even mentioned to Sopko I couldn't think of an alchemist anime which is what I bet what was being referenced (all I could do was think of Mana Khemia).

Realllly should've got #3 since I've actually seen it (and guessed it elsewhere on the quiz). Oh well. It's not like I remember much about it other than that Urd seemed way more fun. Have also seen Gankutsuou but guessed Lupin III there due to vague memories of it having copyright issues. Everything else I missed, I haven't seen.

Glad I forgot about this all Sunday, since it would've spared me the humiliation of missing out on Aquarion. Utena too, considering how many jokes about Akio's car I've seen/used.

Escaflowne was a gimme since I watched it last year, don't recall being on the right track for any of the others except Dai-Guard and maaaaybe FMA. Would've guess Tenchi Muyo for #9, since IIRC it's strongly implied in OVA continuity that Tenchi ends up marrying all the girls.
