DL Small World (Round 8: Soppy)

Edit: Probably should have remembered to say this: Base Game + Dames + Be Not Afraid + Cursed

I hope you all read up on the rules. Dice rolling and conversation to happen in #rpgdlboardgames Please try to address your turn within 24 hours. I have an easy to use GIMP file (and Notepad with the races/powers) so that, if people are interested, they can self update the game as well to help keep it moving along. Just let me know ^_^

For your post, simply indicate the numbered area that you are interacting with. Ala "I am conquering 2 with 2 Wizards, 3 with 2 Wizards and 4 with 2 Wizards. For redeploying, I will put 4 of the Wizards on 2 and leave 1 on both 3 and 4." Or something.

Final conquest use a d6. 1-3 = that number of pips, 4-6 = blank

You put Cursed first on purpose.  :P

Skipping the Elves and the Homunculi (woo I'm poor) and taking the Commando White Ladies.  Which is kind of like the Pink Ladies but with less Frenchy.

I have 6 race tokens to use for attacks.

Entering the map at Region 5.  Cost 1 token.
Conquer 9.  Cost 1 token.
Conquer 13.  Cost 2 tokens.
Conquer 20.  Cost 1 token.
Attempt to conquer 25 with my 1 remaining token (cost 2).  Roll of reinforcement die:

I removed a post because I did the whole thing wrong.

Edited to fix a typo (captured province 5, not 25)

Somehow, those elves made me think of Nomic-style deadlocks.

Anyway, do correct me if I fuck something up here!

I will claim the Dragon-Master Amazons, costing 4 victory coins. I have 15 tokens, 4 of which can only be used for offensive purposes and thus vanish during redeployment. I also have a dragon!

Take Pillaging (5 Tokens) Homunculi (5 Tokens). Put 3 Coins on Cursed Elves, get 2 Bonus Coins and 2 Bonus Race Tokens.

-Deploy 3 to 35, 36, 43, 44 (Taking out the Lost Tribe at each location, hurrah pillaging).
-Redeploy none of them.

I will take the Marauding (+5) Tritons (+6), placing one coin each on the Goblins, Trolls and Gypsies.  I get 11 race tokens.

- First Conquest at region 24, costing 2 tokens.
- Conquer 25, costing 3 tokens. (The White Lady is slain.)
- Conquer 20, costing 3 tokens. (One White Lady is slain and the other goes back to the Captain's hand, but he has nowhere to redeploy it.)
- Conquer 18, cost 1
- Conquer 17, cost 2

Marauding triggers.  I take 1 token off 17, 1 token off 24, 2 tokens off 20 and 2 tokens off 25.  I have a second conquest phase with 6 tokens.

- Conquer 12, cost 2.
- Conquer 7, cost 1.
- Conquer 29, cost 1.
- Conquer 28, cost 1.
- Final conquest, attempt to take 2.  Fail.

Apparently the White Ladies lack of panties was too much for the rest of the races to bear.

There's not much I can do with one token left, so I will go into decline.  If I read the rules correctly, I don't choose a new race until the following turn.

I drop 1 coin on Mercenary Goblins and collect one coin from my new race, Barricading Trolls.

I have 9 race tokens to use.

I enter at area 5, spending 5 tokens, and sending two back to Andrew's hand.

I send 4 to area 4.

No redeployment.

We erect some Troll Lairs and have a massive kegger.
