"Bad" does not adequately describe that play. It's like they forgot who they were supposed to tackle.

But the Texans have already suffered so much. TJ Yates and Jake Delhomme?!

As a result of how awful this year has been so far for Florida sports..I made this...to calm my soul.

Enjoy!

Also home of tons of murder, arson, and rape....but those aren't viewed so highly.

Technically, they're the Miami Marlins now.

Super- congrats on owning the Packers, fellow Packers-owner. Ciato, do you also own the Packers, or will you not be going to the Shareholders meeting with Super and myself?

Haha. Oh, I am lame and missed it. (I am also kind of broke. Spent 1000 dollars on traveling and bullshit like that, and have another 2500 to spend in the next few weeks. Schoooool.)

Better not miss it or you'll have to wait another 15+ years and by then Super and I will have already gotten the Aaron Rodgers Beltway built.

Yay, my teams suck. Good draft picks next year though!

Also, this Tebow thing is getting out of control.

And with the 4th overall pick...the Miami Dolphins select Robert Griffin the 3rd for Baylor.

BITCHES!

~

At this point we are in a race with the Redskins and possibly Tampa for landing a franchise QB.

I am loosing faith in Freeman by the second.

It's the Trent Dilfer effect.  He plays behind an amazing defense and has a -5.5 DVOA but he "just wins games."  See also: Young, Vince.

There's also the part where he has to come back against teams that have scored maybe ten points all game.

Still...

1 and 4 before Tebow.

Now...

8 and 5

It's pretty incredible, and to say the Denver Broncos have an amazing defense might be the the overstatement of the NFL season. They are good, amazing? No way.

They're huge on scoring defense (the defense that counts).  Also there's shit like the Chargers game where Novak missed two FGs in a row. Denver didn't win that game, San Diego lost.

It's the defense keeping the score low and lucky bounces as much as anything.

It's also playing Matt Moore, Carson Palmer in his second week as a Raider, 2011 Matt Cassel, Mark Sanchez, 2011 Philip Rivers, Christian Ponder and Caleb Hanie. Not exactly a murderer's row of QBs there.

The one good team he did have to play (the Lions) won 45-10. As good as Denver's defense plays, Brady will be able to pick them apart.

Re: scoring defense - in five of Tebow's seven wins, the other team has scored exactly one touchdown per game. That doesn't really make it hard for the offense to put together a win.

It's that time again! Of course, not that I have much faith after being COMPLETELY WRONG last year...

(6) Cincinatti Bengals vs. (3) Houston Texans - Yates played decently down the stretch, but lots of injuries plague the Texans and they dropped the last couple of their games. On the other hand, I think the Bengals' relative inexperience will catch up to them here.
(5) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. (4) Denver Broncos - Everyone, including God himself, hopes this is the outcome.
(6) Detroit Lions vs. (3) New Orleans Saints - Both teams have something to prove. Lions want their first playoff win in a while, the Saints want to redeem themselves after losing to the Seahawks last year. I think the latter will pull it off, though it'll be close.
(5) Atlanta Falcons vs. (4) New York Giants - Depends on what Falcons and what Giants show up that day, but given the way the Giants pulled it together down the stretch, I'm leaning them.

(5) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. (1) New England Patriots - Depends on what condition ol' Rothy is in, really. Healthy, they have a solid shot. Not... well... yeah. Advantage is still in Pats corner.
(3) Houston Texans vs. (2) Baltimore Ravens - Despite dropping some bad games, I think the Ravens have it in them to win this one pretty handily.
(4) New York Giants vs. (1) Green Bay Packers - ... you know, it's tempting to say history will repeat itself. I'm gonna go with that, really, despite every bone in my body saying it won't happen.
(3) New Orleans Saints vs. (2) San Francisco 49ers - 49ers have a season of keeping decent offenses in check, but haven't quite met a Drew Brees yet and struggled with Romo and Manning.

(2) Baltimore Ravens vs. (1) New England Patriots - I think the quality of the Ravens D will shine through, in the end.
(4) New York Giants vs. (3) New Orleans Saints - Will be a great game, but the Giants D won't be able to match the Saints at home.

(3) New Orleans Saints vs. (2) Baltimore Ravens - Defense wins championships... usually. But I think Brees nets his 2nd title here.

What will be lower scoring -- Denver vs. Pittsburgh or the National Championship game?

Hard to say. I'm expecting the NCG to be one of the games where one of the teams is ridiculously rusty from its month off and gives up forty points. I'm just not sure which. Meanwhile, Tim Tebow is going to throw enough pick-sixes to outscore a typical Redskins game.
