It's that time again! Of course, not that I have much faith after being COMPLETELY WRONG last year...
(6) Cincinatti Bengals vs. (3) Houston Texans - Yates played decently down the stretch, but lots of injuries plague the Texans and they dropped the last couple of their games. On the other hand, I think the Bengals' relative inexperience will catch up to them here.
(5) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. (4) Denver Broncos - Everyone, including God himself, hopes this is the outcome.
(6) Detroit Lions vs. (3) New Orleans Saints - Both teams have something to prove. Lions want their first playoff win in a while, the Saints want to redeem themselves after losing to the Seahawks last year. I think the latter will pull it off, though it'll be close.
(5) Atlanta Falcons vs. (4) New York Giants - Depends on what Falcons and what Giants show up that day, but given the way the Giants pulled it together down the stretch, I'm leaning them.
(5) Pittsburgh Steelers vs. (1) New England Patriots - Depends on what condition ol' Rothy is in, really. Healthy, they have a solid shot. Not... well... yeah. Advantage is still in Pats corner.
(3) Houston Texans vs. (2) Baltimore Ravens - Despite dropping some bad games, I think the Ravens have it in them to win this one pretty handily.
(4) New York Giants vs. (1) Green Bay Packers - ... you know, it's tempting to say history will repeat itself. I'm gonna go with that, really, despite every bone in my body saying it won't happen.
(3) New Orleans Saints vs. (2) San Francisco 49ers - 49ers have a season of keeping decent offenses in check, but haven't quite met a Drew Brees yet and struggled with Romo and Manning.
(2) Baltimore Ravens vs. (1) New England Patriots - I think the quality of the Ravens D will shine through, in the end.
(4) New York Giants vs. (3) New Orleans Saints - Will be a great game, but the Giants D won't be able to match the Saints at home.
(3) New Orleans Saints vs. (2) Baltimore Ravens - Defense wins championships... usually. But I think Brees nets his 2nd title here.
