I have to admit, I kind of wanted the Lions' first loss to be to the Packers at Thanksgiving.  It was partially for dramatic reasons but also because last time the Packers played the Lions at Thanksgiving, the Lions were 6-2 and got torn apart so badly it caused them to lose all but one game for the rest of the year and then every game the year after that.  We bashed in their heads AND their minds.

I would have had the Packers run in and interfere, but on the other hand, I'd also make it legal to switch teams by striking another player with a folding chair and pulling off your jersey to reveal the other team's jersey underneath, so probably I'm not the guy to decide on how football games should go.

...why would you possibly be glad your team is giving up six weeks in? Not that it matters; he's still going to Indy in the end.

On the one hand, they desperately needed to go out and get an actual QB to keep this season from crashing and burning. On the other hand, their hopes and dreams are now tied to Carson Palmer's knees.

Why am I glad they suck this year? I am definitely NOT glad. At this point, it's expected. The Dolphins have not been good for a LONG time. Take away that one fluke Wildcat year and it becomes even longer.

But I do have HOPE. Not this year obviously.

I am hopeful that they suck enough to get Andrew Luck.

I can't stand Chad Henne. I want him gone from Miami. I don't want an average QB. I want a QB that instills fear and pain to the opposing defense.

Can you do that for me Miami.....please?

Given the last 11.5 years, I'm going to go ahead and guess 'no'.

So we had the misfortune of getting CLE/SEA. I think that was the single worst game of football I have ever personally watched. Holy shit.

I remember coming back from being out all day, reading up on that, and thinking we need to send disaster relief to anyone that watched more than five real-time minutes of that game.

And to think, thousands of people actually paid money to attend that travesty live.

Well, we decided playing FF7 was a better idea than continuing the pain. Next week hopefully will have a good game... involving... Seattle..... just kidding, that probably won't happen.

EDIT: Just checked. Bengals. Will Seattle score a single point in that game? That's the real question.

Brees still has a chip on his shoulder from the time he lost a game 64-3, doesn't he?

That first image nicely sums up the Ravens game, yes. I'm more amazed they managed the TD late than anything else.

I think that second image describes how all the viewers felt watching that game.

They win that game if Henery can throw a  football like a high schooler.  Also, Jay cutler is a goddamn houdini in the pocket, the Eagles were in his face all night.
