Also, my already near-criminal-sociopath level of sex drive has amped up considerably since working out all the goddamn time, so my usual frustrations are somehow tripled.

Oh you your sex drive has increased while doing it?  Better start ignoring my advice regarding the showers then.

Also just remember to start alternating hands otherwise benching might be harder.  Or maybe just start doing a couple more curls per set with your ball tickling hand.

Now that my mini-vacation is done with, I have been more focused about my health, eating and dieting plans.

No more goddies for me, at least I will attempt to avoid them at all cost.

So, I have been playing basketball a decent amount of time this year. I try to get three days dedicated to that.

My gf has also just started that gawd damn Insanity work out, and she insist that I do that along with her. Not really my thing. It's a huge pain in the ass. At least with basketball, the exercise is enjoyable. That is pure torture. But, she wants my help so what am I gonna do? I told her on days that I am not playing ball, that I would tag along.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are my normal basketball days. I try to play for an hour or longer usually.

Tuesday and Thursday are my Insanity days.

I work tuesday-Friday at night, and on Saturdays I work in the mornings. I also just so happen to work at a gym where I have access to working out if I so choose.

Before i was doing all this cardio my work out regiment usually consisted of something that looked like this:

Tuesday: Upper Body. My idea of a super set which includes bench, pull ups, curls, and military press.

Wednesday: Running on the treadmill.

Thursday: Lower Body. This super set is calf raises, leg press, roman situps (because I need to have SOME ab workout), and a machine that works out my thighs.

Friday: Get on a bike and chat it up with the rich fogeys at my job. Fridays are usually my chill days.   

Saturday: Upper Body again. Bench, curls and pullups all come back, but if I feel like it I might do abs too.

But now with all this extra crap I am doing in the morning, my body is going to need some rest. Regardless, I have been slacking as of late and I need to get my butt back in gear. I will figure something out...eventually.

On topic, I went from basically no exercise recently to exercising every day in June (aside from a few days where I was too incapacitated/out of town to do it).  Depression is a good motivation for exercise I guess. 

I was at 85KG when I started exercising.  Weight was 79 KG when I came to Japan.  Weight I was at when I was comfortable with my body was 165 lbs so about 75kg.  It took 8 months to gain 6kg, let's see how long it takes to lose 10.

With all the cupcakes I've had in the last month, as well as rice pilaf, I am amazed to say that I am now 28" in the waist. Last I ever measured was, mmm, last winter-ish to see how fat I grew, and I was "33.

... so I can have a cupcake tomorrow! ! ! ! ! ! !

HA. My July 10th post is such a troll post. Months late full of apologies.

Anyway.

Ran 4 miles today with my girl Heidi. She ran all the way home, so that's er, 10 for her??  Yeeeeah.

About to do my yoga routine, shower, bake xmas goodies, play videos, research Arlequin and do my thing. Running tomorrow at 6AM with her, this may just kill me. She's trying to get me into a morning running routine. Blegh.

Vacation in August ruined my routine and I never really got back into it.  The best I've done is that I am now in week 6 of Couch to 5K (though I've been doing it for 8 weeks...) and the first run without walking part is on this week.

Then I go on vacation and completely ruin that, eh? Eh.

Push Ups - 15 Reps - Can do them girly style if needed

Toe Touches - 15 Reps - Legs up in the air like you had done a leg raise, left your shoulders like a crunch to try to touch your toes.

Mountain Climbers - 30 Seconds - Pushup position, alternately lift knee towards chest.  Looks like you are constructed from derp.

Rest 30 seconds (Don't drink water)

Situps - 15 Reps

Plank - 30 seconds

Bicycle Kicks - 30 seconds

Rest 30 seconds

Crunches - 20 reps

Leg Raises - 15 Reps

Flutter Kicks 15 reps per leg

Scissor kicks 15 reps per leg

Rest 30 seconds

Supermans - 15 Reps

Sideplank - 20 seconds

Side plank - 20 seconds

Plank - 20 seconds

Rest 30 seconds

Pushups - 15 reps

V-hold - 30 seconds

Standing side reaches - 12 one side

Standing side reaches - 12 the other side

High knee - 30 seconds (Jogging on the spot lifting knees as far as you can)

Rest 2 minutes, water etc.

Do it 3 times.  4 times a week.
