Lute (vs. Peter)
« on: March 14, 2008, 09:04:46 PM »
A talking bird? A talking bird capable of self-resurrection, at that?! This creature simply HAS to be studied; who knows what applications its special powers might have to the staff magic of Magvel? But first it will have to be captured, lest it be distracted by some nonsense about a Middle championship. What a bother! Luckilly for science, Lute is just the woman to take care of this - both the capturing of the phoenix and the study of it. After all, she IS a prodigy, you know. This creature, which quaintly refers to itself as "Peter", may boast a resistance to the fire element, but Lute has many talents, and her studies have shown that both thunder- and light-elemental tomes will work to full effect against the bird. With her superior agility, she will certainly get the first strike and may even be able to dodge the bird's attacks, which will let her devastating thunder spells work their, well, magic. Indeed, this will be an easy task for Lute. The chance of failure? Statistically insignifcant!

Maybe.
