TOPSP gets the I don't get that level of hype award from SF this tourney.  The remixes count more against it than for it to me.  Oh well.

Now this would be a fine finals.  Best two here, may whichever one that wins win the next round as well.

NES bonus round finals

Megaman 2 vs Final Fantasy 3
Mega Man 2 does have one great piece, but FF3 has a lot of A+ pieces for the NES, for all that I never played the NES version (but have listened to the full NES soundtrack).  The regular battle theme takes 45 seconds (!) to loop, which would be great for the time in an age of 25-30 second loops.  Eternal Wind (first overworld) is pretty good, and the boss battle theme /final battle theme have already been hyped.  Speaking of which super, you left out the links.
