Means I'll have to Greyhound down to the DC Bus Station again but that beats the piss out of Newport News (4-5 hour ride as opposed to 8-10)

As a Floridian, I'm happier closer to the Equator. DC is my vote, for all that NJ would mean I get to see Meeple's awesome dog again.

On review of my calendar, the 4th-6th may be a no-go for me to host due to after-New-Years plans. If that weekend doesn't work the following one would be fine, though; I'll post once I know something definitive.

I'm in McLean, VA, near the Tyson's Corner Mall (where we will NOT be going, learned that lesson last time). I'll PM the address to whoever's going.

One potential pitfall: I cannot get out of work earlier than 6 PM on that Friday. My paper goes to press that day and I'm training a new reporter. The weekend as a whole is still better because I'm free Saturday and Sunday, but I'll be absent for that first afternoon.

We should work out who will be driving in and thus available to pick people up who will be busing in and such like myself. That way, we have a better sense whose available when, where, etc. for us ordering tickets!

Well, it seems like you can public transit from DC into McLean, which would probably make things much easier than picking people up during high traffic time. So since I'll likely arrive the next day (I get out of work at 5PM on Friday), I'll probably just PT in and PT out, keeping it simple. If there are activities happening the day of Saturday IN DC, I won't PT in.
