Worked for me. Although there's also the part where I've told my mom I'm -still- considering a vasectomy even though I haven't even ever kissed a girl (and now I definitely won't >_>). She knows when to raise the white flag.

So, a nightclub burned down and over 230 people died in the fire last night in the city one of my best friends used to live. In the media, it's been said it's the worst victim tally in a club fire in pretty much all history. I'm speechless right now, just trying to spread news and help requests.

And then, there are people in high social media making jokes about the fire. I hate the internet.

Oh, it didn't happen here. Just a city a very good friend of mine is from, and I have other friends in the region. Right now, there's not much else to do, I shared some links and contacts for people who are closer than I am (I'm over a thousand km from the area) for support, which is about as good as I can do within my limits. Still, this just shot my mood down the drain for the rest of the day.

Speaking of, big rains and some minor flooding g in Brisbane. I am fine able to go to work and stuff. We lost power though because a branch of a tree fell and ripped the overhead wore that connected our unit to the lines across the street off the building. Hopefully get power back today. Not sure if will have net connection back or not.

Mood still shot the whole day due to yesterday's incident and the news about it getting progressively worse and having slept two hours today. Then, The Cure announces they'll perform in São Paulo three months from now. On a Saturday.

So a couple weeks ago my previous place of employment closed down, which really took about two months more than I thought it would. However, I never got my W2s, and I find myself wondering how the hell that works now.
