Godlike:

Ryu (BoF3) vs Profound Darkness (PS4)- Abstain for now, have to number crunch this.
Sephiroth (FF7) vs Piastol (SoA)- More respect.

Heavy:

Arc (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2)- Too much pressure. Arc's got a limited amount of MP to work with, and he has to constantly be under invincinble even after Weak Enemy. E: oh, WE doesn't work on bosses? *flush*
Elc (AtLC) vs Claude Kenni (SO2)- Obscure SO2 elements to the rescue. Claude immunes the drain game and can resist fire, which doesn't leave Elc with much in the way of options.

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1)- Unlike Peppita, I think Justin can take a single turn of berserk Juan offense.
Antenora (WA2) vs Max (SF1)- 3HKO first.

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)- Sara's Mdef doesn't matter here, Palom's slamming up against the damage cap as is.   He'd need Drain to not be dogshit to have a chance, and it's only worth considering in easytype. So *flush* to that.
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX)- Status.

Godlike:

Ryu (BoF3) vs Profound Darkness (PS4): His type of match. Go Warrior, use Aura is one of the safest paths to victory probably. Does leave him open to sleep, but he can halve that so he's probably safe, and he may well have the MP for Tiamat in phase 3 anyway.

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1): Goes first, 2HKOs. (For what it's worth, I'd vote Juan even if I still banned storebought sleep protection, but I agree that if you take his damage the way the current stat topic does in its low-crit-rate form, he probably falls just short.)
Antenora (WA2) vs Max (SF1): "3HKOs first" sounds right, yeah.

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX): Quick name the enemy Rikku needs to steal from to get a status FuSoYa doesn't immune! (Not silence or petrify.) If you can do it within 5 seconds I encourage you to vote for Rikku, but otherwise, fuck her. FAQ-bait + needs to farm items + Use isn't even remotely unique in-game makes he kinda despise her hype.

Ryu (BoF3) vs Profound Darkness (PS4) - Ryu. Turns.

Arc Eda Ricolne (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2) - After Weak Enemy, Luca most likely 3HKOs Arc at best. He can deal with that, especially with the durability loss.
Elc (AtLC) vs Claude Kenni (SO2) - ON THE OTHER HAND...

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1) - lawlz
Antenora (WA2) vs Max (ShF1) - Yeah, 3HKOing first is cool.

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4) - Nope.
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX) - Nope.

Godlike:

Ryu (BoF3) vs Profound Darkness (PS4) - Sure.

Heavy:

Arc (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2) - Weak Enemy is probably enough here.
Elc (AtLC) vs Claude Kenni (SO2) - edit: oh right he had Mind Buster, not Rob Mind

Middle:

Antenora (WA2) vs Max (SF1) - 3HKOs first and junk.

Light:

FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX) - Yeah kind of not on board the Rikku for Godlike hype train.

Ryu over PD. Tiamat and Holy damage nuke for forms 1/2 work.

Piastol over Seph. Optional superboss and such.

Luca over Arc. Weak Enemy DOES NOT WORK ON BOSSES.

Elc over Claude. Mind Buster is not draining.

Max over Antenora. 3HKO? I am not so sure as that is 1.9PCHP.

Sara over Palom. Rar dragon.

Rikku over Fusoya. Reflect probably works. ID too.  Use is Clearly a Rikku skill even if you CAN get it on others. The items can be gotten through Steal or sidequests where they have other uses and you can Use the spares.

Sephiroth (FF7) vs Piastol (SoA)
oh boy battle of the status whores whose slugging capabilities in-game are mocked by a variety of broken abilities.  Coin flip, really.  The abilities in Skies that mess with Piastol feel like they have more cost in battle (SP, turns) and are more required to beat her, even if they're easier to acquire, while Sephy is beatable without the more obscure FF7 broken (but if you get it goood luck to him).

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1) I acknowledge that Juan probably wins strictly from the stat topic, but meh, still not on the Juan hype train and Justin has more arguments than Peppita (lucky turn 1 ID vs. no sleep Juan, or forcing Juan to not immune Sleep & surviving a berserk string).

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX) - Hey now, Use is totally legal for Rikku, it's only on her grid.  (The items that aren't Al-Bhed potions, though....)

I'm sorry, I can't hear you over Blight's vulnerability to status~

Luca Blight is vulnerable to... Blind? I guess Silent Lake gets him.

But Weak Enemy is a very powerful status that very notably does not work on bosses, it'd be like assuming FF6 Gravity worked on Luca, or something.

Man it's almost like AtL2 bosses have blanket immunity to what the game considers status, and considering *nothing but bosses* immune Weak Enemy, I'm certainly not going to give anything that falls shy of perfect status immunity benefit of the doubt there.

Silent lake goes through silence immunity. Anyway, Luca only blocks sleep and ID. He can be hit with some annoyance statuses like balloon and poison, though he does halve their hit rate.

Godlike:

Ryu (BoF3) vs Profound Darkness (PS4)
Sephiroth (FF7) vs Piastol (SoA)

Heavy:

Arc (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2) - 404 Weak Enemy hype not found
Elc (AtLC) vs Claude Kenni (SO2) - Elc casts Invincible then starts MP Bustering... I dunno if that matters, though.

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1)
Antenora (WA2) vs Max (SF1)

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX)

Godlike:

Sephiroth (FF7) vs Piastol (SoA)

Heavy:

Arc (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2): Arc is tied for game worst speed and has below average durability, so luca takes a good 70% of his HP before he gets a turn. Then arc has to spend half his MP on emergency damage control (invincible, weak enemy, invincible), then use what he has left to try to scratch away at luca. Invincible and weak enemy both need to be re-applied constantly, so Arc has very few turns to attack. It's not going to work.

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1)

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX)

I guess the idea for Arc is to apply Weak Enemy and 'lap' Luca to use Total Healing, then laugh off his attempts to hurt him while under Weak Enemy...

A potential problem is that Weak Enemy wears off based on #enemy actions... 3 actions. Should Luca's three actions count towards Weak Enemy dropping?

Godlike:
Sephiroth (FF7) vs Piastol (SoA)- Gut reaction

Heavy:

Arc (AtLC) vs Luca Blight (S2)- So this probably comes down to how much damage Arc can do before running out of MP. Assuming at first that he's just switching up L2 Invin and attacks, and then finishes off with Weak Enemy->Physical, he can get off 9 normal attacks and 1 boosted attack for almost 3.5 PC HP. Invincible wearing off on Arc's turn means that Luca needs to get him out, or eat more damage than he can handle. Weak Enemy is not actually needed in this case.
Elc (AtLC) vs Claude Kenni (SO2)- Yeah, see Void getting this

Middle:

Juan (S3) vs Justin (G1)
Antenora (WA2) vs Max (SF1)

Light:

Sara (BoF1) vs Palom (FF4)- Um, Sara is arguably susceptible to Tornado and he's likely faster. Hmm.
FuSoYa (FF4) vs Rikku (FFX)- Is Godlike

For those who voted Luca over Arc, how does Luca beat Arc just spamming Invincible and attacking for like 9 turns (remember, that Arc regens 5 MP a round naturally and 9 MP a round when attacking, so while Invincible costs 24, he gains 14 for every Invincible turn that is cast)?

How much damage would that do against Luca's defenses?

Luca halves damage, and has some evasion. Beyond that it's an HP respect check which various interps of Luca can swing pretty far in either direction.

Arc can pump out over 3 PC HP (prior to damage halving) this way. Luca having some evasion may help a little (enough though? Luca's HP itself isn't so hot, it's the damage halving that makes that good).
