Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9)- Cinna is a special kind of pathetic.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1)- As is Big Joe.
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4)- Sancho probably has sub Cristo damage and some limited healing, but that is *still* enough to handle freaking magikarp.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC)- Would expect Alfred to have the edge in HP and damage here. I say this as someone with low respect for WA3 bosses. Yikes.

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC)- >_< Good work Randolph, you beat up a baby pokemon.
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2)[/b] Leon's under half average damage and slow, and his skillset is *worthless*. Ramus should be able to outdamage him, he at least has a little HP.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2)- Handling Suikodogs: About all Gades 2 can manage.  Mighty Jagen will punish you for your filthy crimes next week.

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9) - Cinna 10HKOs average and has like half average PC HP. That's very special.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1) - Big Joe, holy crap.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC) - uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon S. Geeste (SO2) - SO2 mages, holy shiiiiiiiiiiit.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2) - Suikodogs, holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9)
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1) - I'm actually pretty sympathetic to giving Big Joe his crowd counterattacks but that would make him non-Puny so no.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC)
Do we have Solt stats anywhere?  I don't see 'em in the CC or CC boss threads...

Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2)
Blargh.  I guess I'll go with everyone else's kneejerk for this, but I really wish we had real Ramus stats (not hacked endgame Ramus with old equipment nonsense).  Ramus is very happy Luna is helping drag the damage & durability averages down (even if Luna is waaaay better than him in-game).
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2)
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6)
Does Siegfried ever win?  The likes of FF4 Cindy slaughter him, I suspect he manages to defeat only the likes of Hetzel or Jogurt.  Anyway FE characters "counter" him perfectly by counterattacking him 8 times for massive overkill or something (since each hit can trigger Interceptor in-game I believe...).

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9) - Cinna is special.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1) - As is Big Joe.
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4) - As is Magikarp.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC) - Um.

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC) - Randolph going to the Nergal school of picking up easy wins.
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2) - My kneejerk is that both Leon's only hope is that ID spell and to never respect that ID spell ever.  e: which was apparently tested to be roughly 0%!  Hooray, vindication.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2) - s u i k o d o g s
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6) - Siegfried handles Jogurt and that's about it

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9) - Sothe practically looks like his FE10 form against freaking CINNA.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1) - Finally someone gets KNOCKED DOWN.
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4)
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC) - I think Alfred sweeps this quarter? Well, dunno Sancho.

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC)
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2) - Uhhhhh.....one of these two has a real HP score. That's game.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2) - Would this qualify as Gades's "kick the dog" moment?
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6) - Mighty. Jagen.

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9): Sothe is terrible, but Cinna... Cinna is somehow considerably worse.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1): Sure. Joe might win this with the crowd, but the flavour of that move still makes me punt it.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC): Yeah it's really weird that we don't have Solt stats, one of the DL's weird oversights. Wouldn't stun me if Solt were better, but I remember him sucking a lot (unlike Peppor whom I remember being decent enough) so I'll vote for the one whose numbers I remember for sure.

Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2): See Snowfire more or less.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2): Connie is terrible.
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6): If there was any chance I needed to think of this, counters make it moot.

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9): I'm gonna go with Sothe counters as the winning thing here.
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1): Yep.
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4): Bad as Sancho is, HE IS NOT MAGIKARP.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC): Solt struggles to break defense, Alfred does not.

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC): Randolph OHKOs
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2): Leon's damage registers on the damage curve and his stats aren;t "awful at everything" like Ramus.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2): Connie.
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6): Siegfried is basically VP1 Hrist with accuracy.  Even Jagen OHKOs that.

Idly:
If we ban Jagen from counterattacking because it's OP, Siegfried gets 8 instant attacks that do uh scratch damage (and get him murdered by the counter-attack equip you found at the Imperial Base).  Let's call it 0 damage vs. average FESD defense.  However, Jagen has a Def 2 below average (avg. is 13, he's got 11), and he's getting horrifically doubled.  So 16 attacks -> 16*2 = 32 FESD damage.  Jagen only has 26 HP!  Wow, Siegfried could theoretically kill something with his initiative flurry.  (If we ignore the massive overkill before it gets going.)  That's still amazing that can even happen.

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9)
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1) - Big Joe is not a Puny...:(  Granted...I've always allowed the Chaos form for Garland...mmm...so I guess Garland wins.  Eh...I'll think about this later.
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4)
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC)

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC)
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2) - Don't...see how Leon is Puny
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2)
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6)

Cinna (FF9) vs Sothe (FE9)
Big Joe (XG) vs Garland (FF1)
Magikarp (RBY) vs Sancho (FM4)- No vote.
Alfred Schroedinger (WA3) vs Solt (CC)- ... I'm preeeettttyyyy sure that even the relatively competent Solt only wishes he had ~5HKO damage.

Randolph (Lufia 3) vs Pichu (GSC)- No vote.
Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon Felpool (SO2)- ... nope, nope, not thinking, have a vote.
Connie (S3) vs Gades [Final form] (Lufia 2)- The awesome part is that even being super duper generous about Pale Gate doesn't help here because Pale Gate is kinda ID or bust.
Jagen (FE11) vs Siegfried [Ghost Train] (FF6)- .... Snowfire's argument is very interesting, buuuut not inclined to take things quite so literally.

Ramus Farmain (Lunar:SSSC) vs Leon S. Geeste (SO2): Abstain

Only one I can vote on.  Leon only needs to knock off 75% or more of Ramus' HP and can finish with Dark Circle.  It may not be enough.  If Ramus can win in 5 attacks, he'll probably take this.  Messy to interpret.  If hitstun or blockstun interrupt attacks, the situation is completely different.  Leon won't get off any bigger spells this way.  However, Ramus is so slow that if Leon closes in, he'll lock him down with his physical.

Leon's ID works like Black Wizard's? (Doesn't work till low HP)

Dark Circle seems to always work if the target's HP is low enough (<25% is what it's believed to be) barring total ID immunity.  Otherwise, it will whiff.  Bosses and likely some large enemy types probably have contractual immunity to this.

Word of Death is the spell that never seems to hit when Leon casts it.  Ever.  I've seen it land once on a FunnyThief out of over 200 casts spread out over multiple playthroughs.

There may be a level factor in there.  I remember an enemy Word of Death hitting Claude once when I brought him into a late game battle after never having used him at all during a mage only game.  He was..what, level 4 or something?  Would need to actually check, but...

Also, Black Wizard would be overpowered here - his ID works based on DL rank < 3.00, which Puny by nature is.

Oh please. I still refer to him as racially insensitive wizard. <_<

And I had absolutely no memory of Dark Circle the spell. I don't think it saves Leon from Puny, though I suppose it does have use.
