Clive (RS) vs Amalthea 1 (Trails)
Two terrible POIZN spammers face off. The good news for Clive: His mighty 40% healing off .774 base durability heals ~.30 PCHP worth of damage, and even if Amalthea repeatedly connects her own 50% POIZN, she's inflicting .29 PCHP a round, so it'd require crazy good Amalthea luck + doubles to ever kill Clive with damage - surely enough time for Clive to use times when Amalthea is unlucky on inflicting POIZN to inflict his own POIZN on status-vulnerable Amalthea, and his own POIZN is surely eventually fatal. So Clive wins the slugfest! ...except... Clive is also "7% weak to status" according to Dhyer's topic. And "status resistance" is "take with a grain of salt" anyway. Regardless, Amalthea is going for her pro 0 damage Shadow Spears strat (which really can inflict ID, it's totally unrelated to the amount of damage or 0 magic stat, I've seen it happen). 20% ID is like turn 5 by default, but it may be turn 4 thanks to the status weakness, and Amalthea is faster. Clive has 0.05 PCHP damage, and... that doesn't 4HKO Amalthea to me, and it certainly doesn't 3HKO. This can get sped up if POIZN connects of course, but dear lord. Curious what Dhyer thinks about this match. I don't usually vote RS since I only played like 2 hours of it but since I expect there to be maybe 2 votes on this match, why not.
