Yay Hulk.

Work is going well. I have gotten a few special projects (well, asked/worked for them and so received). One of them requires me to go up to Seattle the week before my mother's birthday, so I'm taking a vacation and dragging Andrew up to see them for the first time in, like, 5 years. They don't ever come visit me.
Looking forward to a business trip to the UK in October. Kind of hoping it doesn't interfere with my 10-year high school reunion, kind of hoping it will. Since I might get a trip to SEGA headquarters toward the end of this year, early next, I decided to start taking Japanese lessons (which the company is paying for).
Also, because commute, I am getting a motorcycle endorsement on my license. Hopefully in the next 6 weeks I can bring my commute back down from 1.5 hours to 45 minutes to <20 minutes (current, the new commute once I move, motorcycle commute). It will be nice to have a life again.
Also been looking at puppies because our new place, into which we move September 5, will allow us to have a dog again. I found an amazing little border collie puppy that was super mellow and friendly, but Andrew's not ready for a bigger dog yet (border collies are ~35 pounds when grown) so we're sticking to the small ones. That way, even if we do end up with another Tally, they can't sever arteries.
