A lone monster? What a letdown. The Gale's swordsmanship is peerless in the light division, but he still hoped for a stronger test than a single puny monster. His blessed katana has been used to slice up far more dangerous monsters over the years in his long service to the Padsow kingdom and later New Almekia. This foul creature is no more dangerous than a lone G-Scorp, and just as easy a fight. Iai Slash? Close combat with a Shadow Moon critical to end things? Questions all worth asking, and worth spending more time on than thinking about how badly Brusom is going to curbstomb this little Goblin.
Goblin may not the terror of the battlefield like the head of the Esgares Empire or the leader of BlackX, but he's learned a few things in his day. Mostly to stay low and fight as best he can with his little club and hope it's enough. Taking on a trained Shogun is going to require a more.. indirect approach to combat. While Brusom's a light with good reason, Goblin stands little chance in a straight up fight. Perhaps then.. a modification to the battlefield is required? Hahahahaha! Surely BossX can shift the battlefield to his home dimension, boosting the Goblins' offense powers greatly.. making this a close fight instead of a slaughter. Goblin will take that.
