Such a far departure from the days of yore. As much as autobattle has become the game's moniker here, no relevant content worth its salt will fail to lay waste on your party if you attempt autoing nowadays. FF4 Demon Wall does -not- count as relevant content).

EDIT: Regarding Irvine, considering his only sniping achievement in plot was FAILING TO LAND A SHOT, I think it's only fair that he gets no Aim. Hell, SELPHIE gets ITE on her basic physical and he doesn't in FF8.

To be clear, this Difficulty-90 Demon Wall + its reasonably tanks Trash mobs are almost certainly the absolute upper limit of any Autobattle strategy. I was as fully loaded for efficient Autobattle as possible and I still only got Mastery by the bare minimum. And Demon Wall is notably an anti-magic themed boss anyway, so I was using the recommended damage type anyway.

Really the game should be getting RNG or S/L style mocking monikers instead of Autobattle jokes.

Neph goes 5/22 on 11 pulls when I am 0/44. Neph is the chosen one of Nuffle. Why has Nuffle betrayed me?

Irvine's not just a gunman, is my point. He's a FAST, ACCURATE Gunman. His schtick, as far as we know is two things:

1)He's supposedly an elite sniper. (So he should, by all rights, have Aim)
2)His Limit Break is popping off a lot of shots really fast, fuck, his best limit IN THIS GAME, is called Fast Ammo.

Celerity may be a weird skillset, but Irvine comes at that skillset from the direction of "being a sniper" and "attacking really fast". He's probably got the best claim to the skill outside of Tidus.

The sad part is that while she has no use for it, if Selphie had Leg Shot I'd totally put it on her now. With Irvine in the party, just to make him feel bad about being the only one in his cast who can't use it.

I rage bought a 5 mythril pull out of desperation and FINALLY got a five star item.

It's... an Adamant bangle. It... doesn't have a soul break. It does, nonetheless, have really great stats and is easily the best armor I have, and it raises a LOT of abilities, so now I have to figure who this makes the most sense to stick on.

FF How To Autobattle Your Dragon - FF5 event! With a Galuf Level Break II crystal, and a Lenna Lvl Break 1 crystal. I now have a white mage lined up that can be Level 65, so that's neat. Now I just need a 5* Staff.

Oh and Exdeath I guess. I dunno his battle sprite is pretty ugly I'm not sure I care.

Got WoL's Level Break 2 crystal this morning. I am just vaguely hoping that by the time I reach that tier of levels I'll have someone else who can take his place because his sprite is so ugly.

Oh god no. His sprite's just so busy that it looks like a mess. That said, it looks terrible blown up in the banner but not that bad shrunk down. I'll know for sure in a few minutes after I get him. EDIT: Miscounted stamina. More like an hour and a half.

I drew from the other one too. Three 3*s. I figured I'd give this one a draw because it won't be around after tomorrow. Drew again, got another Sentinel's Grimoire. That's kind of like a Mage weapon I guess? First 7* item. I'm trying to be happy but I can't put it on any of my actual mages...

Well even if you find one, I don't know how you could possibly live with only one mage weapon?? Oh man the game would really be a lot more annoying if I only had one mage weapon. It would be terrible.

I have four (two for black magic, two for white magic) and that's already not really enough?

Edit: got my FF3 guys to the FF3 dungeons. The fourth to last FF3 level isn't bad for xp, 20k for 20 stamina plus synergy bonus. Lots of small wind orbs too. I'm not leaving until everybody is at least 50.
I need to find something similar for FF2 because the number of underleveled FF2 characters is growing exponentially.

I figured I'd give this RK thing a try . Don't see myself getting hooked on it because the menus you have to wade through for micromanagement are a molasses-speed pain in the ass, but the dungeons are entertaining enough. Also my introductory relic pull was a 5-star weapon (Blitz Sword) so everything dies.

Diablo 3: Working on getting a Hellfire Amulet. Three Uber bosses down, one to go - just need the stupid Act 2 keywarden to cough up his rare drop so I can do the fight. I've been lucky enough to get two of each crafting material from the boss drops so far, too, so if the RNG lets me down I can try again pretty easily.

Bangles are great, the best armor type for overall stat boosts. I've been ecstatic since getting that Edincoat and Adamant Bangle from that 11-pull last week. Adamant is more of an attack bangle, though, so the first priority is sticking it on your physicallers if you need the attack. I have it on Golbez currently, since he actually has uses for the Attack with that Rune Axe of his.

I -will- note that 4* mage weapons are quite good enough to tide you over even sans synergy in a pinch, especially now that Faith is a thing. I've only had that trusty Light Rod and an Empyrean Rod as backups for the Judgment Staff and Oak Staff for a loooooong time, and they work well - especially with Devotion and Impetuous Youth for RMs. It's also considerably easier getting multiple 4* copies, which also helps a lot. I even lucked out enough to land two more Empyrean Rods this week, so now I have an 80-Mag backup, no synergy involved, for my dedicated summoners. The higher mults do make up for the lower mag and, at L65, it's not hard getting past the ~220 magic threshold, which is where the higher mults really start paying off.
