Mod's note: Shale requested that I post the following for him, sent via AIM since he has limited internet access today. He actually sent the message several hours ago, but I missed it until now.
First Shale post:
Pallas Raithe: Anyhow, post follows:
Pallas Raithe: Alex Please point out what "very weird" positions OK has taken. "I can't really see anything that defends him" is very strong language, and I'm wondering where it was for the past few days when you were going after Otter.
Pallas Raithe: Also, the fact that you continue to say Otter was "the worst townie ever" for his tunnel vision going after someone who was acting scummy but flipped town, well, glass houses, stones, etc. The only difference between your play and his was that you used the flip to support yours, and I've already said what I thought of that evidence.
Obviously, you can still play like that and be town. *You* have, in the past. But attacking somebody else for doing what you're doing doesn't sit well.
Second post:
Pallas Raithe: Okay, I'm going to throw down a vote on Alex at this point. Suspicion over his unequivocal defense of Excal, plus suspicion of his tunnel-vision combined with going after someone for having tunnel vision, plus his unsupported vote on OK, plus his repeated statement that our (lack of) communication with the flipped scum clears the two of us. It just doesn't sit right. If I *were* scum, and had flipped instead of Sopko, then the same logic he;s using to clear me would serve just as well to clear Soppy.
##Vote SirAlex
Hopefully the Cid posts this in time for somebody to do something with it.
Finally, this:
Pallas Raithe: Also, if for whatever reason it comes down to deadline and there's no hammer on anyone, change my vote to OK.
Pallas Raithe: (I'm hoping people will be able to see my other posts before it comes to that, though.)
In light of the lateness of my posting this (lost track of time. Blame Front Mission 4), I'll allow a couple more hours for people to respond to Shale's points in case it changes anything (again raising the question of how many times will the Cid break the no extensions rule in one game, I know). If a majority vote has not been reached by that time, Shale's vote will switch to OK and hammer as requested.
Current votecount:
OblivionKnight (2): Ryogo, Sir Alex
Ryogo (1): OblivionKnight
Sir Alex (2): Corwin, Shale
With 5 alive it takes 3 to lynch.
There are 2 hours remaining.
