There is specific things in Tomb Colonies that can reduce Persuasion, but if you only spend Opportunity Cards you won't ever have it happen.  Just going there doesn't hurt at all.

Edit - So that leads me to trying to time a trip to the colonies when I am tapped out on actions and can get through a bit of my deck all at once.

Having 10 cards in deck may help with this.

I sold my tiki and then convinced the constabluaries I knew naught about it. Were I this good at bluffing in real life, I'd probably have a pretty good future selling derivatives and crashing the stock market.

Almost finished my novel, spent like 2 days worth of turns on it but I think I'm having better luck than Grefter did. The cycle of build scandal to 7, leave, pray, repeat has been quite useful since I can spend my relationship with the church on getting this done low-risk. Name signed with a flourish 6 here I come.

I moved on to writing a stage play and tried to bang the lead and blew like 16 turns on only succeeding at raising my scandal to 7. Welp.

EDIT: I just finished the mysterious benefactor quest. I may be lame because I may or may not have actually d'awwed at how cute the resolution was.

I think the mysterious benefactor story has a different ending depending on the gift you asked him at first, because you can reset the storyline with opportunity cards.

I asked for the persuasion bouquet and the ending was lovely.


Anyway I exchanged all my connection to society for contraband street signs.

Also feels weird being away from computer and not having much data.  Jump on Steam Mobile to chat with my brother.  Go "who the fuck is playing Fallout New Vegas again". Drill down on games.  Hmm good taste but not many games.  Checked shared friends.   Ahhhhh hi Cid.

The next big Watch Out for Fireballs game is going to be that so would recommend checking that out as they hit.  Will be a whole month of shows.

Brave Exvius:  was saving up for an 11 pull but did an 8 pull before the new banner dropped because I wanted Bartz Krile and Galuf.  Figured better chances before more characters diluted the pool.  Ended up with Krile, Penelo, Vivi, Shantotto, Cyan, Bedile, Edgar x2.  Nothing really rare but a lot of utility so pretty decent overall.  Krile seems pretty good, has access to 5 star Black, White, and Green* magic and dualcast.

Currently leveling up peeps in the cactaur event.  Haven't tackled White Dragon yet but I don't anticipate him being a problem.  I have multiple Poizn and Paralyze units.

*Green magic in this game is all buffs and debuffs.  Kind of a cross between Saboteur and Synergist in FF13.

Yep I just replayed New Vegas with the DLC after hearing them complain about Fallout 3 for a month. Still a fanfuckingtastic game.

I'm also curious about the Chronicles of Mystara after hearing their episode. I never got to play it in arcades and only briefly in MAME. Does anyone know if the Steam version is good about getting people into the same game? Seems like it could be fun with multiple players.

Romancing SaGa 2:

So this is out in English now. It is all the SaGa-y goodness I had hoped Legend of Legacy would be.

Anyone else gonna give it a whirl? I haven't started researching RS2 mechanics yet, so I'm basically lost. As expected. It is magnificent.

I have finished 2 dungeons. It would be great, but the touchscreen controls ruin everything. Especially because RS2 actually requires some precision during dungeon navigation.

I like the super simple plot. In ancient times the seven badass heroes saved the world and said they would return one day, in case of emergency break glass.
Present day: The last metroid is in captivity, the galaxy is at peace, but then monsters start killing people AGAIN so people start praying for the seven heroes to return. And the seven heroes do return but oh shit this time they are EATING EVERYBODY and are totally super powerful.



Then I assume you beat them after 40 hours of gameplay. End.

Nah, not me. Haven't touched it since getting 100% chievos last winter (including Legion ending and three-star challenges because endless self-loathing). FONV is totally one of my favorite things but I also don't ever need to play it again. I dunno, maybe in a fit of nostalgia ten years from now or something.

I don't know what that thing you're talking about is, though.
