Blackstar is indeed as extraordinarily different as I was told, if sometimes somewhat difficult to hear--this is hardly a new sentiment in the history of humanity, but it is hard to believe that he is actually dead. He just kept doing what he loved doing until he couldn't do it anymore. Which, considering the circumstances, is great.

The Cure - Lovesong

Not sure if this, Last Dance, or Lullaby is my favorite song on this album, but all three are excellent.

I'm likely most partial to Untitled Song and Disintegration from that album, but Lovesong's an easy third for the top songs in that album. Regardless, Disintegration's about the apex of cohesion and quality for the band.

I decided to try to tackle my backlog of music that I've not listened to much.

Devin Townsend Project- Rain City. Not appropriate since it is the end of Rain City season, but still a nice song. The album is a weird mix of the different DTP styles and feels a little mish-mashed as a result.
