Diabolos was a pain but I got him using Orlandeau+friend Orlaneau and Luneth for old school chaining.  Zargabaath MVP as usual.  First time I fought him he killed me with 2% health left.  SO MAD.

Finally managed to get all the 3* Esper fights down...  So far.  Diabolos took more than his fair share of tries thanks to the AoE Dispel, but I finally got it down.  Tetra Sylphid went down on the first try, though.

08/18 things: I finally beat Nemesis Malboro.  Thank you power creep.

I also beat Malboro today because I wanted to enhance the whip. Used Basch as magic tank, Zargabaath as provoke tank, Ayaka for emergency heals and reraise, Reberta as main damage dealer, and two Tornado chainers.

I was killing the babies on most turns, so I never got Devoured and just whittled the big one down. Reberta's aoe rotation is wonderful, pity there aren't many major aoe fights.

Things I finally got around to beating thanks to power creep:

Wicked Moon
Torturous Trio
Demon Chimera Scorn
Sheratan
Fallen Ice Bird

EDIT: So i tried seeing if I could maximize damage somewhat.  I’m no whale, but...

Got the Grand Helm+. My Viktor Marchenko is now at 1452 defense, with over 13,000 hp.

Judging from my friend list I'm the only one still playing this. That's okay I will talk to myself.

I wasn't prepared for the early release of 400% stat cap. Pretty much can only hit it with Reberta because her base attack % is so high. I've got her at 1900 attack dualwielding.

VP banner comes tomorrow, but it's pointless to pull on it because the rates are so bad. Not that I have anything to pull with anyway.

So I got told that Byakko and Suzaku are going to be on the CNY Banner.

Sight unseen, I'm back for a little bit to try out for said unit(s).

EDIT: And on the first day of February, 7 Tickets and 2 4* Tickets on the FF10 Banner.  Oh hi Citra #2.

5* Ticket from the MK event!  Olive #3.

Bunch of tickets on the Star Ocean Banner!  Nameless Gunner Jake #2.

The previous Star Ocean banner screwed me hard. This one was slightly better. Worked my ass off to get lapis for one full step-up. That and a bunch of tickets got me a second Rena and two Sophias. It is not my fate to get Fayt. Also got the usual off-banner garbage like Delita. Fucking FFT always haunting me.

Went hunting for gear for Sophia. Why hello there powercreep. Killed Calca+Brina in one round, killed Calcabrina on turn 2 after a round of setup. Then I killed Brachium on first try, very nearly killing him with my barely geared first 5 characters.

Really liking Sophia. The bit of MP regen at the start of turn means you can go all out every turn with wave battles. Triplecast Stone Rain and repeat.
