Event Four- Battle of the Bands
A traditional event, the battle of the bands throws four strangers into the classical rock band roles of Lead Vocal, Guitarist, Bassist, and Drummer. Winner is determined by crowd vote, so ability to sway an audience has a bit more weight than pure technical musical ability.
Sebastian, Okosan, The Angry Sun, and Papyrus form the first band. Sebastian is already a composer and singer, so that's a big get, but Papyrus is a charismatic son of a bone, so how they decide to shuffle their strengths matters quite a lot. And of course the Angry Sun is just the worst, total asshole, so he may torpedo the whole affair.
Second band comprises Katsuya Suoh, Sharena, Max Caulfield, and Scrooge McDuck. This isn't really Scrooge's biggest strength, but he is a duck of infinite wealth and almost as many talents, so perhaps he can whip the rest into shape.
Hillary Clinton, B-MO, Donald Callahan, and Captain Nemo all make up the third band. While music isn't really their defining trait, I could certainly see all of them having some background in instruments, and could easily shuffle around everything to make something functional.
The last band is Booster Gold, Pollyanna, Angela, and Cersei Lannister. Booster of course will relish being the front man, but I wonder if people might not mostly be waiting to see how badly Cersei manages to sabotage herself for this one...
Event Five- Clinicals
Four lucky participants have to partake of one of the biggest trials for aspiring nurses: demonstrating the ability to draw blood well. This event tests fine motor control, knowledge of anatomy, bedside manner, and all sorts of delightful x factors. So y'know, perfect for our purposes.
Tristan... y'know, I have no idea what the canon Tristan is like. He no longer has super strength though, so that's a downer.
Isaac is a literal infant, but perhaps his intimate knowledge of his mother's anatomy will translate into effectiveness here.
As a wily old vet, it's plausible Gafgarion has some knowledge of field medicine. He better hope so if he wants to move on here.
And so Julius has become a blood sucker. What a terrible night for a random event.
Event Six- Jet Grind Radio
Our teams of hooligans have to roller-skate around a furturistic city and spray awesome grafitti tags while evading the cops. They will be ranked by: A) Don't get arrested, B) Get all the marked locations graffiti'd up within the arbitrarily short time limit, C) Quality of Art, and D) Looking stylish while doing so.
Morgana and Megaman.exe seem like a great pair. Morgana is all about evading capture and disrupting society, and megaman, as an entity of the MMBN Internet, is surely versed in all sorts of subversive and brilliant images.
Sir Galahad meanwhile seems at odds with the entire concept here, but his partner is Elodie, and her capacity to survive and thrive in a hostile environment by manipulating everyone around here is not to be underestimated.
Ivan and Mogu... I got nothin'.
Captain Falcon is surely the best here at evading police and going fast, so if his partner Romeo can pick up the artistic slack, they ought to do well.
Event Seven- The Horror House
The old story. Someone built a house on native burial ground, held rituals to honor the Old Gods, buried a little girl alive in a well, fed those adorable little critters after midnight, and worst of all, two consenting young people... HAD SEX *shudder*. And now, the old house is awake, all manner eldritch things are awake, and odds are, of the four survivors still left, only one will actually make it out alive.
Professor Layton never truly deals with the supernatural, but if there's any way to appease these angry spirits, he might just be able to figure it out and make it out of this alive.
The Dark Adonis Vyers is a proper demon, not some undead thing, so these certainly aren't his people. But his capacity to survive amusing injuries is high, and he's an expert in getting his enemies to underestimate him. A longshot, but not to be dismissed outright.
Eldritch location beyond mortal ken? Yeah, this is old hat for Gilgamesh. Then again, he may or may not have actually, technically SURVIVED his original trip to the Void, so who knows.
Labrys is used to a universe where axing elder things in the face is an effective way to get ahead in life, which probably won't work so hot here. Still, if she's better adept at surviving encounters with the horrors than her opponents, well that's victory be default.
