Our final few slots in the Music Tournament of DOOM will be decided from among the remaining nominations after the majority of the tourney has been filled.  This will be done in the list format: each slot has seven (or six) contenders, simply rank them from best to worst.  They'll be divided up across four topics just for readability, and will be open until they're needed (so, until Topic 16 needs to go up, four and change weeks from now).

4. Sunlust (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Ocean Flute  Stuart Ryan does enjoyable original music.  Day of Mourning I would place above the rest of this field.

6. Wild ARMs 4- Buried City  First 2 minutes get on my nerves.  Does get better.

Sid Meier's Civilization IV - Baba Yetu: Definitely not what I was expecting, but I love it.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Brennenburg Theme: This is certainly an atmosphere and a half. Love the instrumentation.
Sunlust (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Ocean Flute: Unique, and I also love the interesting instruments used.
NieR- Emil ~Karma~: About in the middle as far as NieR songs I've heard go, so... pretty good but not exactly my thing.
Wild ARMs 4- Buried City: Very, very, very, very repetitive. Still manages to be pretty good despite that.
Super Earth Defense Force- First Encounter: Cute... but not really something that stands up too well.
Bayonetta- You May Call Me Father: Feels very genericly epic, and doesn't actually suck me in at all.

Slot 6

Undertale- Undertale: Undertale.
Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk- MARIA: Not Undertale. Is good though.
Bravely Default- That Person’s Name Is: Not bad. Don't really have much to say aside from that.
Malicious Rebirth- Restraint: Pretty enough, but overstays its welcome. I was tired of it by the 5 minute point.
Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness- Cradle Over: Not really my jam.
Melty Blood Actress Again - Kara no Kyoukai: First few seconds are neat, but then it kinda loses it.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow- Heart of Fire: No thank you.

1. Sid Meier's Civilization IV - Baba Yetu - I also do not tend to think of Civ as a game that has music. This is a great song.
2. NieR- Emil ~Karma~ - Nier music has been pretty hit or miss for me. This one is a hit, though.
3. Sunlust (Custom Doom 2 WAD)- Ocean Flute
4. Bayonetta- You May Call Me Father - This song is weird. I like it, but it also feels like it's overstayed its welcome barely two minutes in.
5. Super Earth Defense Force- First Encounter - okay I guess
6. Wild ARMs 4- Buried City - i am out of commentary already
7. Amnesia: The Dark Descent - Brennenburg Theme - eh, not my thing.

1. Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk- MARIA - the snake rattle sound in the background at points is jarring, but that doesn't take away from the song. This is good stuff.
2. Bravely Default- That Person’s Name Is - tossup between this and Undertale for #2, went with the faster paced one
3. Undertale- Undertale
4. Melty Blood Actress Again - Kara no Kyoukai
5. Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness- Cradle Over
6. Malicious Rebirth- Restraint
7. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow- Heart of Fire - Another one I don't feel has aged well.

Sure, let's go with the one piece of vidyagame music that won a Grammy.
NieR is NieR, it'd win lots of other pools, but a bad draw.
That Bayonetta track does the OMG EPIC EPIC thing better than a lot of the Ace Combat tracks, I feel.
Buried City works great in-game, it's very fitting for the location.
The other three are fine, but the top 2 are really big standouts, and 3 & 4 are great as well.

Undertale...  look, I'm not crying, just...  something got in my eye, okay.
MARIA is still great, yup.
Cradle Over - wait, WTF, why does Flonne have a magical girl transformation sequence into having blue eyes again?!  Sorry, distracted.  Quality stuff regardless.
Restraint is another one of those "where did this come from" surprise cool noms.  Never heard of Malicious Rebirth before, but this is quite good.
I like Heart of Fire alot, even with the GBA synth!  Would easily beat out Ocean Flute above, say.  This pool is just crazy.
