So what are people thinking on the playoffs? I'm seeing a weird parallel track here for different reasons in each conference.
AFC:
(3) Jacksonville vs. (6) Buffalo - Shame two long suffering franchises have to meet each other, but at least it means one of them gets a win. Edge to Jacksonville and their defense here.
(4) Kansas City vs. (5) Tennessee - KC is a tale of two teams this year, but they got their shit together down the stretch.
(1) New England vs. (4) Kansas City - This isn't just wishful thinking. They beat NE twice in the last two years. Who knows which KC team shows up, but I think this is the upset of the playoffs.
(2) Pittsburgh vs. (3) Jacksonville - A better game than one would expect, but the Steelers are just the stronger team unless the Jaguars defense really gets at Ben.
(2) Pittsburgh vs. (4) Kansas City - Edge to Pittsburgh. After two good performances the other KC finally shows up.
NFC:
(3) Los Angeles vs. (6) Atlanta - LA is a really strong team this year, Atlanta snuck in. I don't think ATL has enough for an upset.
(4) New Orleans vs. (5) Carolina - Closest match of the wild cards. Giving the edge to NO since they've been more consistent.
(1) Philadelphia vs. (4) New Orleans - Philly looked putrid that last game. I don't think they'd beat the Browns if they played like that, let alone NO.
(2) Minnesota vs. (3) Los Angeles - A cointoss. Literally flipped a coin here.
(2) Minnesota vs. (4) New Orleans - Minnesota's defense carries them through, against all odds with NO's offense firing on all cylinders.
Super Bowl:
(2) Pittsburgh vs. (2) Minnesota - True home field advantage? Congrats to Super Bowl Champ Case Keenum.
