Futurama 2017- Noms!

I wasn't necessarily planning to have one of these chained into the last DL season, but then again at least three people asked if they could nom Persona 5 during that so... here we are, a place to nom Persona 5 if that's your bag.

Before I decide how many noms I need, some housekeeping.  As always the ranked list is HERE .  In addition to your noms, if you happen to see any unranked games you've played but I don't have you marked down for, I'd appreciate the info.  Long-term project over the next couple months will be deciding how to prune and maintain the rankings better, and having more accurate info for each game will be real handy at the end of that.

Relatedly, more data mining is going on now over in the DL topic and having a working idea of who's played the newest and hottest of games might help with the nom process.

Speaking of

1. Please Nom up to 4 characters from games not on the Ranked List per division.  It doesn't necessarily have to be a game with data, and as always CK brand tournaments include anything from a ranked game as ranked.
2. Additionally, suggest up to 3 characters from ranked games per division.

I haven't really decided whether to roll or construct this one, both have their issues, but hey, time to go nuts and stuff.  Maybe.

For my two cents, while I have a mild preference for constructed over random, if you do go with random, auto-include any character nominated 2 times or more, then rando-select everyone else.  Maybe also have some guard so that everyone gets roughly the same amount of entries in if rando-selection is done as well.

(Incidentally, CK, if you do this Constructed-style, I care a lot less about my Godlike noms than the other divisions.)

Hmm, if CK decides to do this, it would definitely impact who I would choose to nom since I'll then basically nom anyone I'm semi interested in that already has a nom.

Before I do my noms, does anyone have any objections to the Palace 7 Boss being a Godlike? I mean, even if you don't allow the Pyramid -> Bane formchain, I think the Bane form itself gets them there?

Djinn: Of those that I know on your list, Makoto/Ryuji/Vyse are all Heavy.   Niles is a crappy Middle.  Ryoma is either a champ-powered Middle or a crappy Heavy, CK's call.

Of the ranked, Stocke/Marle/Red Mage / Sage are all Middle (DS Sage, he may be more OP in FF3NES?).  Shadow and Millenia are Heavy.   I don't know them well but T260G is traditionally Godlike and Flonne is traditionally Light.

DS Sage and FF3o Sage sport a larger than two-division split (FF3o Sage is a Godlike while DS Sage hovers between Light and Middle), so I'd recommend against nomming him/her/it unless CK very specifically enforces a given form.

Basically all of FFIII has that delightful issue really, but fortunately I think basically all NES players are also DS players so that helps a lot.  It's one of those rare cases where the Snowfire-style "well its in (x) division so it's probably (y) interp/form".  But yeah, I'd probably specify DS in most instances if at all reminded.  And also probably not use Sage because only CoD even comes close to that division split and the weaker dueller being the better-played version exacerbates the problem.

Yeah, the PCs having their actual in-game code names let me figure THOSE ones out.  My solution to Palace 7 Boss was "well uh fuck it, you fight Zophar because I have no idea which one you are".  Mind you, given the game came out this year I'm okay with leaving it spoilered a little.  Is Bane an in-game code name?  I'll switch it to that if so.

PS yeah I'm slowly going through and picking out duellers and making matches.  Emphasis on slowly, feel free to post or poke me in chat with ideas/comments/concerns for another couple hours.

Bane is not an in game code name.  I suppose you could call him Samael, but he's referred to by the spoiler name in game that Snowfire posted (Bad!  Atlus will eat your soul!).  The stat topic is spoiler proof, so you'd be able to figure it out if needed by counting the bosses and looking for the 7th "Master"
