Megamari- Title Theme vs .hack//GU Vol 1- Gentle Hands (English) More of a spirit of fun sways my choice here.
Hollow Knight- City of Tears vs Xenoblade Chronicles- Mechanical Rhythm Feels more distinctive against opposition that comes off as mechanical.
Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals- Battle 2 vs Super Metroid- Lower Brinstar Match of SNES tracks, going with the one more enjoyable in isolation. Lower Brinstar isn't bad but works best with context. Also, I've played a lot of Super Metroid hacks so feeling some numbness/burnout from its soundtrack.
Bravely Default- Wicked Flight vs Undertale- Spear of Justice A matchup between tracks from big name games, straight up enjoy Wicked Flight more.
Tokyo 7th Sisters- Fire and Rose vs Front Mission 4- Pride and Honor More to my personal tastes
Bravely Default- Fighting to the End vs Undertale- Megalovania Bravely Default vs Undertale mk2 Think Megalovania is a bit stronger here.
Undertales- Hopes and Dreams vs Deemo- Parallel Universe No meta reason to pick one over the other, both games are among the most represented this round. Hopes and Dreams takes it in a straight bout. Parallel Universe and Evolution Era sound similar enough to fool me if they got mislabeled somehow.
Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Seas- Flying Clouds, Drifting Haze vs NieR Automata- Wretched Weaponry Was tempted to give a pity vote to Wretched Weaponry but this late, when 75% of the entrants have been sent home, anything that's still in doesn't need pity. So going with what I genuinely enjoy more though this is a close match for me.
NieR- Song of the Ancients ~ Fate vs Final Fantasy XV- Stand by Me Being distinctive and a little offbeat for the genre works for me.
Dark Souls- Gwyn, Lord of Cinder vs Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk- Just a Coffin and an Automaton About even for me, hmmm... "Not Dark Souls" is my deciding factor here, as shallow as it is.
Steins;Gate- Gate of Steiner vs Mass Effect 2- Suicide Mission Straightforward preference, no fancy reasonings
Drakengard 3- The Upcoming Battle/Armaros vs Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk- Tasogare No vote, the genre doesn't appeal to me.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night- Dracula’s Castle vs Metal Gear Solid 2- Main Theme Rest in peace, Konami.
Persona 3- The Battle for Everyone’s Souls vs Caligula- Distorted Happiness The opening of Distorted Happiness sounds as if the speaker is trying to be seductive but comes off of creepy instead. The later portion irritates me less but isn't my thing. Meahwhile, Battle for Everyone's Souls is moderately enjoyable so easy pick.
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War- Zero vs Deemo- Evolution Era I like them both. Evolution Era I feel has more to it whereas Zero I mostly find memorable because of a gimmick.
Sid Meier's Civilization IV - Baba Yetu vs Xenogears- Small Two of Pieces A finals caliber matchup, giving to Small Two of Pieces due to a personal experience with that specific tune.
