Bioshock: Beat on easy, and I got the good ending, which was great. I didn't use anything but the wrench for the rest of the game after I got the leach-life effect tonic, and every single "boss" was a joke. I bet the game would be harder on a higher difficulty setting, though.
The Good:
-Atmosphere was excellent, as was the lighting. Anything you could actually pick up had a white outline you could even see in the dark.
-The music, what little there was.
-The camera. I liked the research idea.
-The ending. Simply understated and beautiful.
-The plot twist. I saw it coming (though not as far back as you might think), but the revelation just before the meeting with Ryan is chilling.
The Iffy:
-Controls. Jumping is next to useless and hard to perform in tight situations. The hit boxes for picking up items was a little finicky.
-Plot being stored in out of the way areas. I don't have a problem with the powerup booths and tonics being out of the way, but I couldn't help but get the feeling that I was missing large chunks of the plot as I advanced.
-Weapons. I got the feeling that the weapons weren't all that useful. The crossbow would make a decent sniping weapon... but you get it far too late in the game, once you're fully kitted out and probably won't need to snipe. The grenade launcher was hard to use in even a medium sized room, and I didn't even try the chemical gun.
The Bad:
-"Boss" fights. None of them had any real gimmicks except the final, and they all played just like every other combat.
So overall, it was a good game.
