Albedo stuff is chock full of Foeyay yes.  This is acceptable with Jung's theories while disagreeing with Freud, were still built upon Freud and we all know the level of depth to XS plot is only going to take Freudian theory as I LOVES THE COCKS.

FFT stuff, met, Elf, Excal and Ryan are all worth watching play FFT, I imagine they are fairly respectable watches individually as well, but a 4 way discussion on tactics that requires someone to get out their pocket calculator with a random one of the people discussing it actively trying to get everyone killed is just amazing.
NO MORE POKEMON - Meeplelard.

Wait, so they were playing Mafia and FFT simultaneously?

XS - [15:38] * Hello-Prescott also thinks. I think that the point where I just gave up entirely on XS writing amounting to anything good was when Albedo and Jr. went "AAAAAAAAAND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiii WILL ALWAAAAAYS LOOOOOOOOooooooooooooVeeeeeeeEEEEE YOOOOOOoooooooooooouuuuuuuUuuUuu".

Sums up my thoughts on XS plot so far pretty accurately. At least, I enjoy the gameplay in spite of its clunkiness, and the thing is so goddamned short in practice.

Wait until you heard XS2's ending theme. The incestuous love between those two are really really high. Just Albedo has serious problem in expressing it due to being mentally, very very ill. No wait, that makes it sounds so easy, Albedo's problem is bit more nasty than that. It has soemthing to do with being a masochist but at the same time couldn't get hurt.
Though Gaignun/Jr. ultimately made me cry instead of squealing though, due to how it ends.

Anyways. I just entered Eruyt Village in FFXII. Holy shit, if I were a man and into dark skinned/non-white skinned womens and loved furries with bunny ears, I would be in sperm heaven.
.....My wishful thinking fell shortm until the holy shit point, I thought someone at last is going to praise the awsomness of the music.

Albedo is what I'd call pretty normal for the way he was produced.

Also, it's totally one-sided, but the only way Niu could be more easily convinced video game character have gay sex all the time is if he was a repulsive teenage girl.

XS1 - So, the game freezes on the cutscene with Juli after Proto Merkabah appears. And skipping it doesn't help. MRF.

Started replaying Sam and Max season 1 to prepare to finally get around to just buying season 2 online. Then my brother informs me that they've released the season 2 dvd, although I'm not sure when it'll be available in stores over here presuming it isn't already, which scuppered that plan. So I bought Homestar Ruiner instead in the meantime.

It's pretty good, not exactly mindblowing or anything, definitely not in my all-time favourites but easily worth the purchase. In general it does a good job at matching the whole Homestar Runner feel.

Still not enough incidentals, but I'm not sure how much incidentals I would consider enough anyway >_> Some of the scored secrets are overly hidden in my opinion, such as the one at the car. I have high hopes for the next episode in any case.

Uh, take the disc out and put it back in, see if that reminds the PS2 to do stuff? Hey, it worked for me when VP kept skipping before the Loki battle.

Tried that. Uniformly failed to work.

EDIT: It's kinda sad, because, complaints aside, I kinda like XS1. Oh well.

Sadness. No possibility of finishing the game with a rental copy? Otherwise you'll never know the joy of beating Albedo into a squishy pulp.

BvS:  Busy week.  Finished Monochrome.  Did a run for #1 player - got #2.  :(
Our village blew up, so now I have a nifty new power.  And a new village with no upgrades.  :(
Looped into Season 3 - going Legacy this time.  Legacy appetite is awesome.

No rental game stores in the vicinity, otherwise I'd certainly try. I could try looking for another copy, but that seems like an invitation to disaster.

On the bright side, I found a copy of Suikoden 5 in a game store over here via teh Internets. I bought it. I'm nuts.

On the other hand, instead of doing Monochrome, I fought my way to the Eye of the Storm in the wastelands, and have nifty new powers myself.  My village didn't blow up, though.  Probably will do a Sannin run next Monday when my 7 day bonus kicks in again.  Still on Season 2, because the Wastelands suck stamina like crazy.  Base of 30 per mission for Inner Wastelands without bonuses, and even with a rebreather it was almost 30.

Figured I'd ignore Wastelands until we blew up, since I now get to laugh at puny   Wastelands stamina loss.

Also I need to assimilate NEB or something so I can keep up with you in FFT. ;_;
NEB's probably better than I am.  (And if you do ever see Satan FFT as Excal suggests, Ryan is probably around my skill level...and also freaking hilarious).

Erm, anyhow, just 1cced PCB Easy using Sakuya B.  Wasn't even a struggle--I finished with 4-2.  WTF?  (I'll chalk it up to being more used to my work computer than my home PC or Laggy's home PC, I guess?)

SakuyaB's the first I managed that with as well (Normal, also). Really find her the easiest to use by a fair margin.

*Insert SakuyaB hype here.*

DQ8 - Pretty! And really fucking dull at the early game. But really pretty! Also, the VA is made of win. I -hope- this game picks up fast enough, because I like the aesthetics a lot, but I'm not twelve to withstand Dragon Quest earlygame anymore.

EDIT: Granted, I'm not annoyed at the game right now. Just the memories of GRIND FOR EQUIPMENT FOR HOURS haunt me a bit from when I was young and I'm in a bit of a foul mood today. Just wonder when will the game pick up, since it seems to get steam well once it does.

If you don't love grinding for money (but who doesn't?!), keep an alchemy guide handy and never sell anything that you may need for a recipe. The equipment you get from combining is often better than what's available in stores (or at worst it's usable in comparison), and it's free stuff.

(The #1 thing to remember: NEVER SELL A NON-STOREBOUGHT WHIP. They are either extremely rare or one-of-a-kind, and there's a single-path chain of upgrades you'll want to follow for most of the game. Lose one link in said chain and you're locked out.)

Try and find a save after the cutscene maybe and use Action Replay to get it playable for XS maybe?

And yeah seconding mc hype for Ryans funnies as well.  I can't stress just how much good times just sitting around doing sod all was in Vancouver.

NWN2 - I beat up some Fire Giants, beat up an Aasimar paladin to try and recruit her, saved afterwards, found out I broke her, so there goes one of my Stronghold recruits unless I feel like repeating an hour of Fire Giant dungeon and losing an entire nights play essentially.  Dunno which to choose.
NO MORE POKEMON - Meeplelard.

You don't need to grind that much in DQ8. A few levels for the first boss would be nice, and then there's a storyline important boss that you may need a couple levels for (it should be obvious who when you get there), but other than that as long as you don't run away from everything and abuse the casino you should be okay.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

fantasticcontrpation.com-This is a cute physics puzzle minigame. Has it been Misc. Linked before? It's pretty awesome and you can do all sorts of Retarded things with it. I'm up to Full-up right now.

Edit-Hahahahaha I can't believe this worked.

Edit no. 2-Okay I really need to go get something to eat now.

DQ8 - Okay, so now Guv and Yangus no longer risk getting outslugged by living shishkebabs. Things are improving. At least, doing the first dungeon in forays feels like grinding less.

Kinda like my copy of Golgo 13: Queen Bee. Only replace game with anime, and hammer with sledgehammer.
