Tonfa: Magic Workstation. Program to deckbuild and play Magic the Gathering online. Some fine folks have put together an excellent WoW patch for it that I use pretty regularly to test decks/play.

http://www.magicworkstation.com/download/mws094f.exe <-- Actual Program
http://rapidshare.com/files/148164670/Version_4.0_Full.exe <-- Relevant Patch

It takes a bit of getting used to, but the newest patch improved the functionality a TON.

Also. Ew Traitor Priest >_> Ally or Horde?

Alternatively, -don't upgrade Gallows's ARM ever-. It's a waste of money and he shouldn't be doing anything that isn't casting spells for offense. If he's physicalling things, it's for the 6FP he gets (...) from it, not for the damage. The accuracy is just not salvageable. For Clive, crit twinking isn't necessary either, since his base is high enough that you want to rely on it instead of the enhanced crit, and, with upgrades to base, the crit damage is very painful regardless. Jet is the one who might benefit from crit more, but for that, you'd have to transfer crit rate twinking from Clive to Jet (since you can only do that with Mediums and PSes, really. WA3 ARM crit influences the damage, not the rate, IIRC). Not a great idea, considering the net offense difference.

Yeah, like I said, only do Gallows if you have stupid amounts of cash just sitting there since upgrading ARMs is pretty much all gella exists for in WA3.

I was misremembering the Gatling mechanics then.  Not everything in bullets, you want to aim for that 10 shot gatling.

Clive is a better FA user than Jet, getting it 2 rounds sooner and at least having a physical worth using.  Jet is better left just being a buffer where you can spare the Mediums.

Demi-lich still deserves a bit of hype because of how hard he is to damage, it is incredibly difficult to damage him through the resistances and regen and he PC kills well enough to deserve godlike.  I would rather he just never be used in anything anyway.  Also Super, Slayer is kind of shit for the fight.  Kangaxx stays up long enough that it will probably kill you unless you are playing a fighter.  If you are playing a Fighter then you may as well find another way around imprison and do the fight sooner.

Jet's PA isn't that bad if you go 15 shot. Not great, but not awful. But moreover, Clive's is really, really good, and FA wastes that, whereas Gatling does not. Alternatively, for the most damage (though the least-efficient time:damage output) Lock-On gives him an extra 25% damage overall.

Am I the only one who puts the Fire medium on Jet?  His above-average speed combined with actual damage is a great combo.  The enemies don't last long enough for Clive to get a turn.

That's really not a bad idea, yeah. For randoms it's probably best to deepsix Clive. For bosses, yeah, you'll definitely want his damage, so moving Fire over to him at that point strikes me as a good idea.

Also I imagine if for some reason you have the zillions of gella needed for SHT upgrades that Jet would improve a fair deal there, too.

Erwin Schrödinger will kill you like a cat in a box.
Maybe.

SRWZ: Genesic Gunleon! Damn, The Heat Crusher is shiny. Bit underpowered, surprisingly - it's basically Shine Spark without the S rank - but very far from bad. Also, Big O's upgrade is pretty sweet, and Beck The Great RX-3 is made of win. Damn Banpresto for not giving it Token or making Beck recruitable. Damn them, I say!

Niu, can you shed any light on the supposed recruitment of Ray and Charles? Those two are handy and I'd like to keep them around.

IIRC, have them get five kills, have Renton persuade both and have Holland attack both? I forget the order for the latter though, think it's Holland->Renton.

http://sageacrin.googlepages.com/SRWZsekrit.txt It isn't perfect, but it's helpful. I can confirm most of the Setsuko stuff(I only missed the Amuro-related secrets. And Mark of the Hero but I still have no clue what the triggers there are.).

A few thing is wrong on the site. First, Ray and Charles's count has error, so DON'T count on it. It is mostly using Renton to convince them.
Also, the Left route CAN be gotten on first try, thus yes, you CAN get Haman on without a second cycle.

Knight in the Nightmare- See the bad ending in Blue Route.... HECTOR and his new experiments!!! But you don't fight them. I guess they are for the Blue Route good end. But poor Marrieta, I guess she is fucked anyway.

The kill count of course. There are reports from various number range. SO it is better just save and load and try to convince them in different rather than grinding for kill counts that could possibely be wrong.

Ah. I was hoping you knew the right number.

I might go back and try to ace them; it's only two levels to backtrack through and they're both pretty fun to play. I'll post what happens!

Awesome.  I'll probably start on ARM upgrades after I buy the horses later.  In a similar vein...  I never realized that Jet's magic damage was so utterly crap.

"Jet used Fire Gem!  It's Super Effective!  Blue Book takes 6 damage!"

How in the blue hells am I supposed to get his MTC up?

I Wanna Be The Guy-Late to the party, I know. Just beat Mecha-Birdo. This game is fucking awesome. I have about 180~ deaths on record so far, but the game keeps on crashing randomly so the actual total is much higher than that. Playing on Hard.

Edit-Beaten Dracula. Such blatant Sage fanservice. Now, I have no idea where to go! Awesome.

Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

Turrets are easy to deal with.  Grav gun bitches.  Alternately, if you don't have any rubble laying around (used it all screwing around, you kids screw around too much)?  Grenades.

The part where you're supposed to go "Ew, turrets" is when they're on your side and you're on hard mode and the combine just keep coming and you're out of Ammo and health and you're trying to hide in the cover but they just keep knocking them over and fuck fuck fuck god damn it I have to do all of Nova Prospekt over again because I got stuck god damn it Hard Mode actually having one bit that's hard.

Actually, it's the ones that rise out of the ground in that one building that are a nuisance. Normal turrets do indeed get smacked with the gravity gun.

Started a new game of Radiata Stories to try out the Non-Human path this time. This seems to be the week for randomly playing games I haven't finished. Got all the up to the branch point and made a save. Started a bit of the NH path before the power went out and I lost that save... *sigh*

Replayed a bit of the Human path for kicks but got really sick of Cross's *RAWR I HATE NON-HUMANS* spiel. Shut up forever please.

Jack is a well-played main. The game does a pretty good job of making him endearing to the player by finding a good mix of humor and badassery. He's not much in the way of genuine personality, but he's a lovable collection of quirks. One stand-out scene was towards the very beginning when he was first being shown his new (horrifying) living quarters as a royal knight peon. He does his NOOOO!~! wailing complete with jerky camera angles for some initial slapstick 'ha-ha's followed up by a quirky deadpan line by his roommate "When you're finished with your death wails, why don't you come inside and get changed?" to snap Jack back to seriousness and not fall into the 'whiny/emo main character' trap. It's not literary masterwork, but it is well-executed and sets up Jack's personality for the rest of the game, really. This humorous side of the main really helps to temper the 'I'm a force for all things good and pure in this world' attitude that nearly all RPG leads have.

Ganz is also pretty likeable. And Ridley... serves her purpose well enough. At least she has a decent voice actress.

SaGa: Still awesome, but I was in the mood for a more story-driven game so I switched to RS for a while. Powered Lute up to Lvl.Amazing really early in his quest to try out SaGa Frontier: Challenge mode. Randoms are OHKOing the likes of Gen and T260G... And holy crap Lute learns swordskills ridiculously fast... Got Lifesprinkler for the first time since I've started playing SaGa Frontier. Go Lute.

WA3:  All my characters have an MTC of 10.  That, I think, is a good stopping point...  I also got to level 27...  Before Ka Dingle...  But in any case, it made Janus a joke.  He went down in 3 rounds, and I didn't even spend the first attacking him.  The scariest damage he had was like 9HKO damage on Jet.

Ginny's just 2 bullets away from her ideal gun modifications, and Clive just needs 8 more levels of SHT (good GOD it's expensive).  I'm also in no danger of running out of Mini Carrots anytime soon.  Gatling's gonna be fun later!...  If enemies ever start living long enough for me to pull it off, that is.

BvS:  Nothing new to say for Wil.  Jack got a Catgirl Entourage out of his village's contest, and Irwin finished Mono without BAWWWWing (yay Sight Beyond Sight and an actual Doughman!).  Since yesterday, each of them got their respective Warriors.
