I'm pretty sure the only way to get rid of the beasts is perma-         ?  Correct me if I'm wrong, I never actually did Claudia's quest, I just used her in the others. <_<

No, she just has a ghost half that floats along with her.

The white part alongside her is her ghost half.  This isn't a great pic, but             ing on this computer is brutal. <_<

EDIT: image fixed.

I...I can't be the only one who think it looks like she has a massive uh...you know.

The fact that it looks like a whale's penis, except white instead of a purplish red doesn't help much either.

Yes, I know what a whale's penis looks like. Don't judge me.

for RS:MS, fortunately most quests that require a specific person in your party are early in the game.  if you've done the one you take Raphael and Theodore on, the one you need Guella Ha for, picked up Hawke's map one way or the other, and recruited Barbara at least once, you're pretty much good to go.  LP-killing Claudia's beasts (who are temps anyway, and leave a little bit before halfway through the game) does about zero plotwise, so don't worry about that aspect.  When characters aren't in your party they're a bit slower to gain stats, but stats and skills are both easy to catch up on late in the game, so you're not doing yourself much harm leaving them there if you so choose.  As for characters showing their character, Claudia's the soft-spoken, boring main, so, uh, there you go?  If you play again, I recommend Albert, who has the best voice-acting (if you appreciate the quaver of a young, untested, and thoroughly righteous nobleman).

Unsolicited advice: stay away from Katanas, Clubs, & Spears.  Especially Katanas.
Rocky: you do know what an A-bomb is, right?
Bullwinkle: A-bomb is what some people call our show!
Rocky: I don't think that's very funny...
Bullwinkle: Neither do they, apparently!

MMZXA: Got Model H! Yay, now I have all the original models barring ZX and such, which from what I understand, is incredibly brutal in this game.

Model H is pretty much what I expected...which is to say it rocks ^_^

MM&B: Randomly loaded this up, got up to King's second form, died, learned I had to redo the ENTIRE FREAKING STAGE INCLUDING THE TWO STUPID MINIBOSSES OVER AGAIN...yeah...

"The best of both worlds, man. Hermaphroditic porn. Chicks with dicks that would put mine to shame."

Anyway, started the Cybran campaign. I must say, Cybrans don't work as well with my fire-support based tactics. The UEF is really the stand-and-deliver faction. Heavier armor and splash damage, you know.

Super Luigi Galaxy:  Dorms opening up again means I can play this.  Up to 20 stars.

HL2E1:  After I fixed the graphics card errors the sound looping errors started.  For as much as HL2 was awesome and HL2E1 is just as good storyline/gameplay wise, I don't think I've played a game riddled with nearly as many problems.  Bleh.  Bleh.  ...Bleck.

.hack//GU 3- Beaten. Most questions answered, but still kinda disappointed with the ending, for all Atoli became tolerable in this game. Final party was Haseo/Atoli/Pi. Kinda crushed the final. The final avatar battle was pretty cool though.

May do the Forest of Pain, if only for Tabby.

I used Jeane in my party in S4, and was not disapointed. She's, unsurprisingly, a pretty damn powerful mage. Probably not as good a choice as Ted, but it's kinda hard to compete with the frikkin' SOUL EATER.

What I -do- know is that Jeane is replacing Keneth in my party stat. The damned rookie impresses me less than freaking Chiepoo.

AW: Days of Ruin:  Ha ha, I'm playing this, and you're not.  Unless of course you are.

No major gameplay changes, just some subtle ones like cost differences.  Also, the Anti-Tank Weapon is sick.  Although at $11000, it's not like you can just spam them.  Character graphics are gorgeous, ingame graphics are meh.  Music rocks.

Campaign 7 currently.

OS-Wow what a piece of shit Cornelius's last chapter is. What the fuck where they thinking. Goddamn. Fuck finishing this shit, I'll do it tomorrow. Way to kill any incentive to play, Vanillaware. Assholes.
Don't think of it as a novel. Think of it as a chance to retroactively win every argument you have ever walked away from.

If you're having trouble with the green blobs, make some killer clouds and then knock them into it. There isn't much to do about the wizards besides take them out fast.

The Wizard's aren't too bad, down+X takes them out fairly quick. I just find it irritating that I either have to A) Farm in other areas or B) Hope that I get lucky enough in the current Map to take out enemies at a rate approaching reasonableness. Not to mention the fucking eyeballs that can stun-lock you into the axe guy's OHKO moves. Just a terrible map all around.

Finally got around to playing through Grim Fandango, which I should have done years ago having access to an actual copy of it and all.

Good, but not really that special. Primitive version of Monkey Island 4's tooth-grating engine, for all that it was actually superior in a couple areas... really, really, really needed a tagline telling you what you were looking at and such though. In any case it still blows MI4 out of the sky on storyline and so forth.

I remembered most of what you had to do from watching my brother play it, so I didn't have to work that much out for myself. Arguably this is a good thing since the puzzle obscurity level is dialled up somewhat too many notches.

On the topic of puzzle obscurity, has anyone here gotten anywhere major (or, god forbid, beaten) Starship Titanic without any outside help? Christ that game -_- I got that years back, never ever got especially far in it. Concept is mildly awesome in theory, but... oh the obscure pain.

AWDoR:  Chapter 17.  This game is an UOM-fest.  I can't decide if I want to avatar Forsythe for his stylish clothes, Brenner for all-around badassery, or Greyfield for BATHE HIM IN FIRE!

CO powers are totally different now.  The CO rides in a unit and there's a small AOE around him that buffs nearby units.  Other noteworthy changes:  Battleships can move and attack now.  o_O

Nah Captain, avatar Dr. Morris.  Only he can make puns during the end of the world.

Speaking of which, MC is Penny of course.  Although I don't know her stats, MC is going to use her anyways in Wifi (he has it right?!?).  I must think of counters.

Anyways, I'm on campain mission 24.  Battles go by very quickly because the damage of everything went up.

S4 - Um, thanks for the Fury Rune, Reinhold. Because, apparently, I needed one -before- Kika joined my entourage. Also, where the hell is Rene hiding inside my ship? I want to give her my treasure maps, but I can't find her anywhere in the HQ.
