It is if he is as emo as Fei.

80 hours is a bit much.  If you are FAQing it can get standardish RPG length.  Don't worry you have only Gear Battles ahead of you as well.  Enjoy it.  OH WAIT.  Ahahahaha I love it when other people inflict XG on themselves.  Remember the BEST GAEM PLOT EVAR hype while you write a wrap up and then curb stomp every mother fucking person you meet that says it.

Anyway, for that specific fight I THINK Aerods is... some kind of elemental (omni-elemental hits all elements?) or they might absorb magic damage since they are the Elements.  They will die to the usual boring melee them alot until they fall over though.

Edit - Oh and do you still have Xenosaga to get through afterwards.  Ooooh the joy of watching someone with enough taste to know a bad game when they are playing it realise that the hype for stuff is hiding a truely appalling game.

BUT ZOMG THE GAME TALKS ABOUT GODS AND THE ORIGIN OF MINKAND IT IS DEEP U SUCK

Niu convince me that playing the Spectral Force Genesis DS game is an exercise in futility

it's like a horrible fusion of Sangokushi and Sangokushi Taisen. >_>;;

What the heck is this

Another poor foolish ignorant soul that stubles into the realm of Idea Factory Netherworld. Flee before getting burned. It use the poor, wretched, fucked up system of the three original Spectral Force games, known for its terrible balance. So, don't bother tring unless you want some bragging rights. And don't even get into the plot, it is the silliest thing we have seen so far out of the already ridiculously written Neverland Chronology.

God, did I speedrun XG, or what? I had like 56 hours down at the end, I think. Can't imagine someone spending 80 hours on it.

Wow. I got the same time, Cid. Without using a FAQ (until the final dungeon).

FFTLW- Finished final fights today. Pathetically easy final boss (I had more trouble with Argath), but maybe I was just lucky. Final form Ultima only used her crappy physical on me for like 200 damage and only went after deadweight characters (Alma and Ramza weren't really doing anything the entire fight but getting hit by crappy physicals).

I'll proberly replay the game as I did enjoy it and I feel I didn't do as much as I could in it. I never tried Ninja, sam and dragoon classes for example.

I had...about 70 hours on XG? A good chunk of that spent futzing around with Deathblows and grinding to make sure I had them all(I actually enjoyed grinding back then...).

FFX - Up to Zanarkand Ruins! Reaching ends of sphere grids, and three people have Quick Hit already (none of them Tidus!). Why yes I know this game too well. It's a blast, as always. The gameplay actually has a few more annoyances than I recall (mainly the rotating party members to gets exp weights on me a bit more) but still good. Plot... yeah, a few scenes are just stellar, and the overall presentation feels largely unmatched in RPGs. Just so... not the stereotypical boring japanese RPG at all. Its overall quality does fall a bit short of the top tier, probably (it just doesn't make me think as much as a S5), but presentation + setting = win.

WA XF - Second Asgard fight. He's fun. And yeah, I was wrong about Emulators. Apparently I failed to notice their magic stat and more importantly their HOLY CRAP EXPLOIT WEAKNESS YAY. Ahem. Currently being a bit annoyed by the Extremist map right after, for all that it would probably be less annoying with fewer PCs.

MMX4 - No upgrades / buster only challenge. Up to the final level. I know this game well enough that I don't expect many problems here, but I figure I should do it anyway! Afterwards I will do MMX3 because MMX3 is so damn easy anyway (not to mention its weapons suck so I'm not losing anything!).

F-Zero X - Beat Joker on Master! Adding that to King, if I already mentioned that. Ass-kickings continue otherwise, generally, though I have gotten second place finishes on the other two cups. Mute City 1 is the hardest track in the game, baffling as that seems.

Yes, I've come up with a new gaming policy. Only play games with an X in the name. Seal of quality, that.

I'm pretty sure I have some idle time where something cooler at the moment caught my attention. I've been learning to pause though~

You forget, I like 2/3 of Xenosaga. But no, I meant games with a singular "X" in them, not as part of a word. Should have clarified!

MMX4 XNUBO, or whatever - Yeah, beaten. Sigma took me about seven or eight tries. Colonel / Dragoon / Mushroom / Owl were the other bosses who took me multiple attempts. General's stage was nastier than any boss sans Sigma, you -really- want Airdash or Lightning Web there at the very least. Rising Fire was of course needed for the terror that is Magikarp Sigma. Are YOU ready for your final journey?

And yeah, Pyro, I kinda figured that.

Persona 4 - Yep, snagged this. Up to Chie getting her persona.

I'm kinda impressed, they improved upon P3 in ways I wasn't expecting[YAY I CAN CONTROL MY NON-MAIN PCS AGAIN ^_^], and I really won't mind it being 50% longer than P3 if it's this pleasant. Really wordy game though, damn.

Once you get the hang of the battle system, you'll learn that you can easily abuse it, especially if you knock a boss into his weak zone and pwn him in a good couple turns. It's like the battles never happen. Leveling up though - is boring. But other than that, all the XS games insta-win besides the last 40 minutes of XS3 and Shion in general. >>

Front Mission 5: Menu patch get! It's a bad burn with amazing amounts of music skipping, but the gameplay is there and solid. Love the stylistic upgrades (cutscenes with human beings in them!), core series gameplay is intact. Haven't gotten to the point where the hangar and skill shops are open yet, so I don't know about the customization. Jury's out on the class system - basically, there are a bunch of different roles, and when you take an action in battle you gain experience in the corresponding role. Striker for melee attacks, Assault for shotguns and rifles, Launcher for long-range explosives, Medic for healing, Sniper for rifles, etc. Seems good on paper except that I can't see how it doesn't hamstring the classic shotgun/melee combo build (which the main character defaults to as usual).

Devil May Cry 4: Played through the PC demo. It controls perfectly, so nothing's stopping me from finally getting the full version. Woo!

I just finished another playthrough of FM1. All's I can say is that Sakata was even more ungodly than usual. On one mission he got cornered by three Wanzers and the edge of the map. Well, he'd lost his arms but in the process gained enough levels and bonuses to his agility that he was now dodging everything they threw at him.

I took one down with missile fire, Sakata broke away, got to the supply truck to fix his arms, and then proceeded to bust out some Morgan Kell Phantom Mech shit. He spent the rest of the game invincible with a 9999 AGI stat.
